Equivalent to a Ping Tour 65g Regular

Been trying to track one down for ages. Ping UK have no stock and Ebay is full of S and X flex. Is there an equivalent shaft that is very close in performance? Not wanting to pay daft money as going in an old G head.

Aldila Tour Green. Very similar flex but substantially improved feel IMO. Excellent value as well.

That might work fine - but Ping Tour 65 Reg is more of a mid launch shaft, not a low launch like the Tour Green - or the stiffer flexes of the Ping Tour 65.   Which means a the Aldila Tour Blue might be a closer match - or the 2knv blue or Rogue black would have similar profiles.   Diamana S+ or  Evenflow Blue would be some other possible options.   All very reasonably priced shafts (at least here in the US).

 

Of course those are just general similarities, and evaluating feel is so subjective, the answer of which is the closest match can be different for different individuals.  So it's always recommended to test/demo any shaft before purchasing.

Some on here think the UST Chrome is very similar to Ping Tour.  There have been a couple postings that I recall.

Yep. A few years back UST confirmed to me that the ping tour shaft is essentially an elements chrome with a little softer tip.
