My CBX4 54 & 58 arrived today and look very nice.  It may be awhile before I get to hit them, but first impressions are very positive.

Nice! Looks like they’ve blunted the leading edge but added relief to the trailing edge. Let us know how they do. I’ll be trying them in the spring.

Got the cbx4 in 54 and 58 to replace my mizuno t22 wedges. Got a couple rounds in. First impressions are positive.

play off a 5-cap, wedge game is at par for that hcp level and I would think these fit close to every golfer regardless of skill level. Unless you’re Luke Donald, playing everything within 90 yards with a 60d, these wedges can do anything a blade wedge for our level of play can do.

have yet to encounter a shot I don’t feel comfortable playing with these. Results surely are better as with a bladed wedge.

spin: on par with each new wedge I have played. Feel: not sure how to describe it. But unique to these wedges, not good, not bad. But then again, other than the mizuno wedges I have yet to encounter a wedge I really like the feel off. Vokeys stink for feel, Callaway only slightly better.

partial wedge shots, results speak for themselves. Solid on distance control. Like the flight on these, not too high, not overly have to manipulate things. Around the greens, solid. Inviting to keep it simple, which in my book is a good thing.

only adjustment needed is with bunker play. Use the 58 fir that and can’t quite get any height on it. But have to spent some time with them in the bunkers to get a better understanding for what they do.

no brainer these.

New grinds look awesome!  I have the cbx zipcore and they are money in the spring/mushy weather up north. Continue to excel on bad lies and grass.

They bring a lot of fun back to wedge play. You can hit them anywhere on the face.  The sole design/grinds are very forgiving. Plays like a wide sole but with relief in all the right spots if you want to get saucy.  Bent my 60 2 degrees strong to get the leading edge down a bit and it has been money and still doesn't want to dig.
