That work on the wedges is really superior! I have a ltd. ed. Vokey wedge 60* with that kind of grind. It was originally issued like that...

 

I think that very soon there will be a set of Titleist irons in that bag!!! :(

John...Luke went to Mizuno! :D You know my last bag that lasted a year was Titleist. But....an experiment turned into eight different sets till I settled on the Titleist of Japan Tourstage. :D Give me a year...and who know's what can happen! ;)

Don't get tourstage stuff in uk so never seen em. not seen that driver at all (the x one) is the r7 the 425? i just got r7 425 and driving stats def improved. You have more putters than my pro shop! I stick faithfully to my two ball wouldn't swap it for the wife lol.

Need a neww carry bag for the winter my 10.5 callaway tour bag to heavy at my age in the wet with not electric trolley allowed tho i suppose you guys don't have that problem living in permanant warmth lol.

Yes, a "equipment tart" he is by all means. :drinks: He has more putters than I've seen on display in many golf superstores. He could retire comfortably if he sold his entire collection.

I'm very interested to hear your opinion on the shaft, launch, feel, distance, spin?

I just recently added the Axiv about a week ago and have gotten three rounds in with it so far. I really like the smooth feeling of this shaft. It's plenty firm but at the same time has some life to it. Probably due to it being set up for me at a little less then a true X shaft. Distance has been great as well as launch angle. It seems to play a little higher for me then what I've had in driver shafts which is what I was looking for. It's not a ballooning flight but it does rise rather quickly but has a penetrating flight. So far I've been really pleased with it.

I got it about two to three years ago at a local golf shop here in Hawaii.

The Vokey started off as a normal Retail Oil Can Vokey. The paintfill was removed and then the OC was removed. A custom grind was added and finished with a coat of gun blue. The complete "Diary of a Wedge Grind" can be found HERE

I would Tracy but January is coming around really quick and I have a MAJOR urge to ho. It's been several years....at least since I was able to "ho" clubs for myself since I've had a set of irons in the bag for almost a year now.

 

I've got things on order, things being made and a whole bunch of stuff coming in the mail to play with. At this time, there's really nothing safe in the bag....including the bag itself! ;)
