I didn't even know that part but a rigid spiked golf shoe I'm all in. If the price is good will definitely grab a pair ASAP to break in. 

 

As mentioned the TourX is my favorite golf shoe, they moved to the Tour Alpha but reviews are mixed on that so will see may try both.

Has anyone tried out these spiked versions and have feedback? I need another pair or 2 and am tempted to try them out.

Didn't see this thread until I started a new one.  They don't offer free returns, have no customer service number that I can find and they don't have a retail locator on their website (at least I can't find it).  Also was searching for a matrix comparing the models.  Still somewhat curious though.

Yeah, having to pay just to try a pair on is not a very smart business model. They may make great shoes, but questionable service.

My local golf store actually just started carrying Payntr. I was excited to try them on and echo what I have heard from others. Slightly crowded toe box, and I found that going a half size up from my FJ size was good. Comfort was good, but was not blown away as I was expecting. Maybe my hopes were too high haha. For reference, I am 11 in FJ, 11.5 in adidas, Nike, and now Payntr.

More reviews I'm hearing about these shoes they seem good but nothing to really go out of my way for, especially with the slightly narrow fit it seems.

They were true to size for me. So comfortable, so stable.

Stopped by my local golf shop to grab a pair of rain gloves but was browsing the shoe section killing time. Normally Payntr and a few brands are not in stores but saw a pair of X-006 in 11.5 that must have been a return so tried them on. 

 

Basically bang on true to size but my toes were up against the toe cap. I don't think my feet would be happy after a round. I'd probably have to size up and go wide. 

 

I didn't like the sole plate of these in person, looked and felt kinda cheap with the plastic. Not sure how they would hold up for me, I'd definitely go for the X-004 as the sole looks way better. 

 

Still may be a bit until I try out these shoes.

I had been in search of spikeless walking shoe for quite some time. All signs pointed to the Ecco Biom C4 and H4, which I purchased. The C4 was pretty good but I came across the Paynter X002 in white and gave them a try; I'm glad I did. I added an insole that I like and they've been fantastic ever since for walking. Comfort and grip are excellent and they've held up well in wet and dry conditions. 

 

I found them TTS (10 for me), which is the same size I wear in Nike, Adidas, and G4 (9.5 in FJ unless I add my own insole, then I go with 10). My feet are standard width to maybe slightly narrow so didn't have any issues with width. I will note that the shoes make the feet appear longer and wider when wearing. Doesn't bother me but something I noticed.

 

I've since bought the X002 in gray and have been very happy. While I agree with the comment that the plastic on the soles could break, I haven't had any issues with either pair after about a dozen rounds each. 

 

All in all, I would definitely recommend the X002 based on fit, comfort, and durability. Looks like I've found my walking shoes for Bandon in April 2024 and I'll likely be buying more pairs of the X002.

Came across Payntr shoes for the first time in a store yesterday. I typically wear a size 8 and am a 7.5 wide in most FJ shoes, but pretty sure I would want to both size up and go to a wide in Payntr, although honestly I wasn’t terribly impressed. Material on the shoes seemed kinda cheap to me with a very plastic feel. I would maybe consider their Luxe model if they ever offered it in my size.
