I’m a relative newbie in the equipment world and I had never seen those before. 

they're an old shaft. Not around anymore.  they play a little soft and are designed to help add spin to wedge shots.  There is a few stragglers on tour who use them

They have probably 10 different BB&F color options in their own stock. Wish I got a picture but I didn’t since I chose to go standard black on my wedges.

Regarding head weights, my Miura small blade 7i is 275.5gm, My NCW 7i is 268gm. According to a photo in this thread the Artisan HC 7i is 271.8 gm. [Miura specs are .25 inch short I believe]

This weight seems pretty spot on for me, the Miura BB are heavy (wedge 301gm), me NCW seem a tad light.

great and awesome looking irons!  it is odd to me that there arent many if any youtube reviews  listed here any reason why?? not enough sets being used?? just curious

The wedges are crazy!! it is almost like cheating in my opinion they are worth every penny I would say. I have a PW SW AND LW and they are just awesome. The grind is just incredible and the versatility of them is the best, I have used them all and these are by far the best in my mind I would say if the irons are as good as these then I would say go for a set if you get a chance. The full cavity I think is best as they look like they give you some margin of error and the faces dont look huge just right.

#966.  Received my iron invitation yesterday.  Why was Jamie working on a holiday??? 🙂

Fitting in June.  Will probably end up with a mixed set of FC (4?,5,6,7) and HC (8,9,P) but we'll see what the fitting says.  Trying to decide on 4i vs 9w in this new bag.

I don't see YouTubers waiting 6+ months for anything. 🤣 

 

I would think based on the response Artisan doesn't need a YouTube bump of any kind. They don't need the exposure.

I discussed it with my instructor. Although I'd love to have them, why have a great set of irons sitting around, doing nothing. It's not fair to the next guy in line who will actually play the Artisans. 

 

I'd rather not have the choice of should it be Artisan or Ping today?

I felt it when I sent my wedges in for a sandblast and groove health check with MT this week! Best wedges and grinds and LE bevels ever! Have tried them all and I love my Vokeys but the Artisans makes me feel invincible.
