Theres more to it than that. I've since deleted the email blast they sent out. I went to the Cally Japan Site when asked about pricing on this thread. I think it's on the previous page, but as of that minute, the ∆∆∆S was live on the Site.

Yeah I figured as much seeing the TD “T” fairways listed.  What is the normal TD fairway shape wise compared to the TD “T”?

Welp, looks like someone @ Callaway kept Johnny in the dark as he was adamant these would never make it to retail. Maybe there's a larger separation in what the NA and Asian market teams can do, but....

 

Also look to be about $450 USD for the adjustable hosel 3 wood. Not bad at all. Hope these are released stateside.

Guessing he just didn't say anything.. Just judging by his comments on Instagram about new releases/etc and the pattern that follows I'm sure there's NDA type-stuff going on with most of it. Not saying I blame him...it's the guy's livelihood.

A buddy is already gaming the TD driver. He got it through a contact at call away. 
 

must say the driver is gorgeous in the matte finish. The way the cf only takes up half of the crown reminds me of a mizuno driver, the face reminds me of the tsi, the yellow/gold lining gives me cobra vibes, and the matte finish makes me think Ping. A little strange but in a very good way. 
 

oh yeah and my friend absolutely melts balls with this thing.

Navigating the site thru google translate is decent enough however I can't figure a way to enter a shipping address outside of Japan.

There is a difference though in stating that you can't talk about it vs. flat out saying it's not going to happen.  The latter is just lying.

They're being sold retail on the Callaway Japan site though which is "being sold at retail".

I think he means "at retail" as in "anyone in Japan can order one through regular retail channels" which is correct. As opposed to needing a special order, being a special person or jumping through hoops to get one which means its "not retail".

 

Having it being available in the USA has no bearing on an item being a retail item. Theres tons of stuff available in EU and JDM in the quantity of thousands made for "retail" and just because they dont sell it in the USA doesn make it any less of an easily attainable item made for general sale.

Nope, but I have purchased JDM Cally products from Tour Spec Golf before with success.  I just checked their site, none of 💎 💎 💎  are currently listed🤬
