Well, just received my driver but 7.1* actual loft on an 8.5* stamped head?? 😳🤯

 

Hope I can get it off of the ground! Also it has a TA serial number instead of a TC serial in case anyone is wondering.

You could try trading someone who wants REALLY low loft. That has to be kinda rare to be so low. Could be more valuable to those ppl? Some of the 9* heads are probably closer to 8.5 loft tbh.

I don't see what the big deal is about Callaway's triple diamond. They advertise that they are made especially for the pros, but I've played both a stock head off the shelf and a triple diamond, and there's practically no difference.

Other than the heads are shaped completely differently, the face has a different shape, and the spin and shot bias are different, they're practically the same heads 😂.

No spec sticker on mine either.  And interestingly enough the stock aldila rogue white shaft I ordered was only 45 inches installed.   Doesn’t matter as I had a TR in waiting so popped that in.

 

Went to the range tonite.  First impressions are very good.  Very forgiving.  Zero fade bias.  This thing is either going straight or being pulled slightly left. I hit a few minor quackers but it wasn’t dramatic.  The TR is mid flight, slightly lower than my Ventus Red in the M5 Tour which is expected.  I will change the tip in my Red 6x so I can also try it out with the new head.  
 

Looks are very nice.  Love the matte finish and the deep face.  The bottom design is where it really shines, it looks terrific.  So far I am very impressed.

Speaking of which, Wunder had an IG live last night and someone asked about these tour products and he again stated it was 'some japan company that released them because they do things differently'.

 

...but then CC and other small fitters got them, so not sure how that stacks up anymore unless theyre all coming from the same JDM distributor who handles Callaway tour dept stuff.

My three wood came in yesterday from Fairway Golf and it did have a spec sticker on it (came in at 14 degrees)  TA serial number. I bought this as a club that is going to primarily be played off the tee. My course kind of sets up where I need a 3wd that I can bomb as driver can get you in a bit of trouble on most holes. It will be interesting to see how it plays off the fairway.

I ordered the Triple Diamond T 14* 3 wood from Fairway Golf.  Mine arrived with spec sticker of 14.3* loft, 56* lie angle, 215.6 weight.  Also, the playing length on mine came in at 42.75".  Not sure why its a little short.

Driver and fairway came from Club Champion today. Driver didn’t have a spec sticker. Came uncut with grip in the box.

Picked mine up to have a TZfive put in it this morning and had my first range session with my 3W tonight……for being a “compact” head shape, it looks forgiving. Great shape and sits really nice and square.

 

I wouldn’t call it the anti left of all clubs. I could still draw it if I wanted to. Flights were very straight with penetrating ball flight and head was very forgiving. The head is hot! Explodes off the face. 
 

Side by side to an epic flash SZ at the same-ish lofts but different shafts and lengths  so not true apples to apples, but the Rogue is lower ball flight and feels a little more solid.

I finally mustered up the gumption to just take the plunge and buy the 3 wood.  Go to the Club Champion Vault site.  SOLD OUT.  Damn it lol.  Anyone know if there's any other sources out there that would be charging the same $350?
