Yea, nothing really changed other than being able to order them. They were always going to be available again it seemed next year. I should get mine soon, I'll probably end up selling them in the classifieds after hacking it around with them a bit. 😂

Well, I've got about 5 rounds in with them.  About a half club to full club shorter than my CB 301s.  Somewhat less forgiving on off centre hits.  But not as unforgiving as MB 101s.  I never measured the blade length side by side with my old CB 57, 301s or 101s.  If they're shorter than the 301s it's minimal - not something that caught my eye.  If anyone is really interested I can do that.

Will they replace my 301s?  Likely not.  I'm not playing a lot this year because I came out of retirement and took a part time consulting position.  But it's that job that allowed me to take a chance on a set of club I really didn't need but really did want.

Anyhow, I'm going to play them for another month or two to get used to them and then make a decision.  I will say one thing though.  They're the best looking clubs I've ever seen.  I mean that seriously.  I smile every time I put them down behind the ball.  Just amazing.

Blade length was actually one of the things I was trying to find but couldn't. I'd love to know how the compare to other Miuras you have in that regard. Or even a picture comparison of the address would be helpful.

just got my km 700 over the weekend and put two rounds in them.  In the past ive owned the Miura cb 501, Cb 57, 1957 baby blades, and my gamer til now was TC 201.

Since ive used the tc201 for the last 2 years my comparison will be based mostly on those.

feel:  the km 700 feel softer and sound more pleasing then the 201s.  I cant put my finger on why but the 700s might be the best feeling irons ive ever hit.  the turf interaction is like putting my fingers to my lips and kissing them saying compliments to the chef.

distance:  I want to say they are similar to the 201s.  I still have to get used to it.  but at times they a fraction feel longer and other times feel shorter.  but in average id say the same.

forgiveness:  these irons somewhat easy to hit but mishits do happen.  I feel that the 201s are more forgiving on mishits in terms of distance.  But the 700s are easier to get center hits on.  (does that make sense?)  the 700s are by far the most accurate irons ive ever hit.

looks:  i mean do i even have to say.  these are beautiful.

hope my two cents help.

Ok, here's the 4 Miura 7 irons I own.

I measured (see red line) from the beginning of the grooves to the furthest point on the toe of each iron.  I don't know where 'official' measurements are taken but I figured this would be the total hitting area so I went with that.  Any closer to the hosel and, well, ugly shots happen.

Here's the results in cm.

MB-101   6.9 cm

KM-700   7.1 cm

CB-57      7.1 cm

CB-301    7.4 cm

As I said earlier I didn't notice the 2 mm difference between the 700/57 and 101s, but the 5 mm difference between the 301 and 101 pops.

Hope this helps.

Is it possible that you meant to type MB-001 instead of MB 101?

BTW I love your collection, and I am 30km north of you.

two questions since I have 201’s and debating them also. No leading edge relief which as a steeper swinger I like, is there more bounce that negates the need?

also, how’s the blade size compared to 201? Bigger, smaller, same?

i cant really notice the difference in the leading edge.  i have a shallow swing so it really doesnt make a difference for me.  I know Ian from txg would rave about that on the 201 but i dont think im good enough to notice anything.

as far as blade length its pretty similar. maybe looks a tad smaller.

Not allowed due to the fact you’re not going to game them! 😂 Those are too clean. I just got my split if I had the money, I’d get them.

If I don't get any offers in the next 24 hours, I'll probably play them lol. Not sure I can keep sitting here looking at them begging to be brought to the course.
