if you could only carry one classic club and 13 modern clubs, which would you pick?

I am a bit of an oddball in that I just never cared for the Eye2 wedges, especially the sand and lob. Just don’t fit my eye. 
 

My one club would be my old laminated Golden Bear 5 wood. An old reliable friend. Until it split apart.

How about a Stan Thompson Ginty rescue club?  Still the best thing I've ever used from a divot or out of the rough.

 

The obvious choices have been wedges and putters.  On those fronts might I add to the suggestions the venerable RAM Zebra?

Excluding the more obvious putters and wedges, I think I would go in the same sort of direction and bag a nice little 5-wood. 

 

I'm not sure which club it would replace, though. Probably the 23* hybrid. I don't think I would be losing much if I took out the hybrid and played a persimmon 5w. In fact, I thought of doing it recently when I was having problems finding the centre of the face on the hybrid, but could hit my 7w fine.

A few years ago I found an Eye 2 lob wedge at a flea market for $10, I bought it and played it for about a year.   I had one in the 1980s, got rid of it right before the groove ruling that kept them legal.

 

Still one of the best clubs ever out of the sand, but was I surprised how unforgiving it was on slight misshits.  Ended up going back to my Clevelands....
