If his experience is the same as mine, then yes, carrying is the issue.  I really like my bag, and use it on a push cart most of the time with zero issue.  The problem in my experience is that when carrying the bottle will fall out of the pocket.  It almost gets too "top heavy" with a full water bottle (if that makes sense) which causes it to fall out.  I have tried all different sized water bottles and expereince the same issue.   When the bottle is empty or near empty there is no issue and it stays in the water bottle pocket.  Still like my bag a lot despite this issue however!

Has anyone experienced the Linkslegend tipping forward when using the single shoulder strap? Mine tips forward sometimes causing clubs to fall out. I’ve tried adjusting the strap in all different ways but can’t seem to fix the issue.

I prefer to LM because the quality of leather is more luxury otherwise LL is like vessel bag. Although LL has four decider, the size is same with LM meaning that LM is little more room.

Got my Linkslegend. Overall it’s much improved over the Linksmaster. Love the magnetic middle pouch. Wish they would bring back the canvas.
 

magnetic drink pouch is nice, but when you put a drink in it, it doesn’t close up? Maybe I’m missing something there??

Used mine for the first time on the course today and love it.  Had a few minor gripes that could be improved upon in future models but the bev. sleeve is not awesome, wish the liner of the magnetic pouch was stitched in, and the range finder sleeve could be a bit bigger.

 

Overall though, super happy with the bag, looked incredible with my nameplate, and grabbed a few compliments too.

I can’t shut the drink pouch with a drink in it? I don’t mind the magnetic but wish it would close with a drink in it

Yup! Exact same issue I had.  Snagged one of those Smart Waters (taller 1 liter bottle) from the convenience store on my way to the course and it just kind of flopped around in the pouch due to it not being able to close or cinch down.

My club has slim but tall water bottles, similar to a beer bottle shape and still you can’t close it. It even angles drinks downward and will fall out while walking. You would only use the bev holder if you’re walking, if not you’d obviously have it in your cart. Looks clean, but just not functional.

I've walked numerous times with plastic water bottles in the bev holder and never had any issues with them falling out. Just the standard 16.9 fl oz ones.

Correct. It's frustrating because I walk and carry about 50% of my rounds. I've tried different sizes and shapes and they all fall out. I have to zipper it up which makes the whole water bottle sleeve pointless.

In the market for a new bag, and of course my club’s pro shop gets a few new Links Legend bags in. Just looked at them here tonight and wow are they nice! The blue and white one is calling my name but I also really like the subtleness of the gray. Build quality seems to be top notch. How’s everybody like theirs for walking? It’s going to be a bit heavier than my current bag but I also don’t carry a lot of extra stuff so I don’t really envision the weight being too much of an issue. Any issues with the white maybe getting a little dirty?? Thanks!

I ordered a members bag and custom name plate. Of course the plate shows up first. Do they just pry off? Mine has the velcro backing.

Yes just a Velcro system. Sounds funky but actually clean once applied.

It’s secure. Again, sounds sketchy but actually works and looks well.
