Are the Member bags about the same top size as the players 4 or a little larger?

I am super confused, but I received my new links legend bag for Christmas, and mine has all of the new features but a three-way top…I thought they were all 4 way tops???  also, my bag does not have the carry handle

Yours is The Classic Members Bag. Regular Members Bag has the handle and 4 way top.LinksLegend.pdf

Wow, thanks so much for the information had no idea there was a classic and a regular member  bag… Pretty sure the one I purchased was not describe correctly… it’s really hard to find any information on these bags… so apparently my bag has all the new features,pockets etc….. but the older three-way top without a carry handle …

Correct, classic members = old mixed with some of the new...

I saw this for the first time today at PGA Tour Superstore. It looks a lot better than the original Linksmaster (which I have).

 

I think the water bottle holder is really nicely constructed so you can hide it if you want. The magnetic range finder pocket is good as well. Handle is very helpful. Straps look good. Pockets look a smidge bigger.

 

My only question is whether the legs sag when carrying. That was one of my main complaints about the original.

 

I'm not sure I'm going to upgrade, but version 2.0 seems like a nice step up from 1.0.

Where did you pick up the bag?

 

I ordered through my club and I asked for all the options available -- the # of dividers was one of them.

I ordered from a store on ebay....I didn't know there were 2 style bags and didn't notice the picture being different....just didn't pay attention, hopefully the will exchange for the 4 way top....looks a little bigger....space wise.

Apart from the dividers, and the top bag handle -- the two bags are identical. If that makes you feel a little bit better.

Right. It's for the rangefinder. There have been previous Titleist bags with the same pocket. It's so you can easily access it while standing with the bag on.

 

The LinksLegend catalog calls the middle pocket a 'Velour lined tee pocket'. 

 

You can use the pockets however you see fit, but a walking bag with the rangefinder pocket in the middle of the bag doesn't make sense to me.

I personally use the middle magnetic pouch for my rangefinder, I keep my tees in a baggie in the left side pocket.

I've used regular old 16.9 fl oz plastic bottles and those stay in fine. I typically just lug around a 36 fl oz bottle in my hand when I walk, I easily go through that for 9 holes.

Overall it’s a beautiful bag.  A local pro shop/driving range ordered it for me. They had never seen one and thought it was gorgeous when they first saw it.  I most definitely agreed with them.  
 

I haven’t used it yet, and spring is a few long months away 😩

Recently found a good deal on a used linksmaster bag - so I tried to get a new ball pocket to replace the golfer name/course embroidered current pocket - no luck. But I’m now waiting for my brand new linkslegend bag - woo hoo. Can’t wait to get it, although a good few months until golf season here in the frigid north of Toronto 🥶 

 

and I have the personalized plate already waiting for the bag …

Was at my local GG today getting a new putter grip, and saw they had about a dozen LinksLegend bags out on the floor. I guess more and more of these are starting to pop up at retail stores. 

 

I know about two dozen guys at my club that have the bag, but that was the first time I've seen the maroon (or burgandy?) one in person. It looks pretty good.
