after this thread i bought this bag, but i sold it soon after because as someone with jumbo grips, I had crazy club tangle and issues getting clubs in and out. So frustrating.

Received the correct Velcro version today.  

 

I have midsize iron grips, so they can be a little difficult to remove and replace in the bag.

I personally would never buy a linkslegend bag, because of the dreaded leg droop issue. It’s such a shame, bc the bags look incredible.

 

Not sure why Titleist ignores this major functional issue, year after year….

I solved the leg droop issue by tightening a few zip ties just above the mechanism for the legs. It just makes the mechanism "tighter" which keeps the legs secured. Can't see it really as I used black zip ties.

All, after reading all these “leg droop” posts I decided to look at the design of the plastic piece (black clip w/ titleist logo) that is snaps onto the metal rods. If you take it off there is two tiny marks on both rods that is probably an alignment aid during factory assembly to where the clip snaps on. On mine those marks were centered where the clip snaps on. By moving the clip upwards only a half inch solves the leg droop. (It tightens the rods just a little) I don’t think the marks on the rod serve any purpose other than keeping the plastic piece from slipping off.

While it takes some effort to unsnap this thing, it’s also a little harder to put back on. All I can say is take your time & have strong hands!

Anyone figured out a way to get one of these in Europe? I know a handful of clubs sell them online (North Berwick, Prestwick) but I am trying to see if it’s possible to land a non-logoed one. 

 

Unlike the US, Titleist.com

or retailers don’t seem to stock them. And shipping and import charges from there to Europe are insane. Thanks.

Twist the plastic piece away from the bag, depending on what side you twist will release the metal. Once one side is completely off then slide the plastic piece up some. Then reverse the steps to pop back on. (No strong hands or zip ties necessary) this also works with any stand back with this style clip.

Did this exact same thing. I unclipped one side, slid it up about 2” and then reconnected it. Zero sag in the legs now.

It’s crazy that Titleist doesn’t just install them this way to begin with….

 

Also just a thought, would sliding the clip up possibly damage the stand mechanism due to too much tension?

How would it get damaged? It's a two piece mechanism.
