I hit my 502's today and in my opinion, there is a night and day difference between the 502's and the 201's. I'd describe the feel of these irons as "addicting". I just wanted to hit ball after ball with them...

I had the same experience yesterday. I ran for a second bucket. 200 balls later…I was a tired pup yesterday afternoon lol

Well I'm going to be honest.. I didn't know that either.. Is there something on the site that says that?? That's a big difference in length. You going to stick with those shafts? I've never built a set with grapite shafts, is this normal for most manufacturers?

I am going to stick with the shafts. I also compared the set to a set of New Level 902PDs with modus steel shafts standard length and they we bang on.

The graphite shafts were not the original shafts I had in my TC 201s. They were installed by Golf Galaxy a few weeks ago. But definitely something to consider and inquire about while switching around shafts etc.

I have played steel ever since I started playing golf and this was the first foray into graphite. Lesson learned. I’m glad I figured all this out before getting my modus lengthened and cause a whole set of new problems!

Spoke with Will and he can build them out with GD AD 95 iron shafts or really any shaft for the same price as stock steel on the Miura website and most likely faster.

I am going to check a guy in Orlando that carries pretty much all JDM clubs, he may have a demo 502. I would really like to try it and see if it works at all for me prior to committing. I can deal with a bit less distance as long as it goes where I aim it. But I am afraid it would be a 140 yd 7 iron and I hate to go back to that.

Having a hard time judging the sole width of these. The post a couple pages back comparing them to the MB’s make them look super thin, then other angles make them look thick.

Can anyone post some more pics of the sole and maybe one of top down of the bag with them in?

You can always have them bent a couple degrees stronger to compensate for possible loss of distance.

The soles aren’t tiny but they aren’t large by any means. For comparison, the 4i is a ZX5, the 7i with white paint fill is an MP18-SC.

I would say the top line is more bladey than the soles, but I think they’ll play effectively more narrow due to the pre worn leading edge, while still keeping weight concentrated low to help with launch.

Has anyone noticed that the stock specs on the MC502 are about 1* more upright than the MC501….

Just something I am seeing now…..

can anyone less confirm this is the case??

I think they said something on the literature about updating the lie angles to blend better with other Miura models.

Okay so I was able to get them in, but unfortunately had a death in the family.

R.I.P. Betsy, you have the most beautiful soul and although you will be missed I’m glad you can be reunited with your husband after 34 long years ❤️ I cannot wait until we meet again

I wasn’t able to hit them other than a few in the yard. I’ll make a post with pictures comparing looks in just a second. I’d rather not speak on feel or forgiveness until I get on a launch monitor and on the course to test them better.

The Miura’s (left) topline is a touch thicker than the 620mb’s (right) but not too thick at all. Slightly thinner than the 2021 T100 for those curious

Overall I’ve never seen a better looking iron. The topline of the Miura’s (right) is straight, unlike the curved 620mb’s (left). I love this as the toe is still rounded. I always felt like the 620mb’s were too rounded, even when I was actively playing them. These look perfect. They are almost identical in heel to toe.

I’ll follow up once more after I have better impressions of feel and forgiveness with some good balls on real course environment and also with some launch monitor numbers.

They are both stunning. Thinking of moving from the 2021 T100 to the 620mb’s. But after seeing your pics the 502’s are peeking my interest as well.

Here is my on course and range review:

There are fractionally the best blades I’ve ever played. The differences come in better feel and looks than any other blades I’ve played, which I played from 2009 until mid 2022.

These are not the best iron I’ve ever played. If you’ve ever played any players iron with any tungsten or level of forgiveness then these are not comparable. The difference from these to my T100’s are night and day. A heel or toe shot with these lose you about 5 yards, and a thin shot loses you about 10 yards in the air. This is versus the T100’s you’re giving up 2-3 yards heel or toe, and 5 yards on a thin shot. There no question for me I’m a lower handicap player with the added forgiveness.

for reference I’m a +1 and here was a session with about 20 shots from a 5 iron
