ordered the longer T irons to blend

will be keen to see if I have same perception

the longer cb's were just a 'touch' out of my league lol....

Played an 18 hole practice round yesterday with the CBs. My initial assessment is they spin ALOT. Way more than my 0211ST/Gen4T combo set. I have PX LZ 6.5 in the CB, but I normally play the 6.0. So not a true apples to apples comparison. 
 

I was hitting 5 and 6 irons as high as my 9 iron usually goes.  Short irons were even higher. distances were around 5-7 yards shorter than normal on long irons, fairly similar with short irons. This could be a difference in shaft flex. 

 

It was a fairly calm day so I didn’t get to hit any shots into more than a 3-5 mph wind. 
 

The additional spin makes shot shaping fairly easy. I had a few get away from me because I’m not used to that much influence on shape. 
 

In terms of forgiveness, I feel like the 0211ST are slightly more forgiving in 7-W than the CBs, but not by a huge margin.  

I did feel like the top line on these are too thick for the blade size. To my eye the 0317CB top line is thicker than my 0311T Gen 4. The thicker top line and shorter blade length give it an unbalanced look at address. To be fair I didn’t compare them side by side.  

This was my first time out with them and my experience with them may be different after a few more rounds.
