Dang why don’t we get the adjustable weights? Or all the necks? We’re not cool enough I guess.

Don't hate them...GTX looks a lot more sleek IMO.

Plus at least they're doing something different. They hardly change their drivers and irons and they get beaten for it. They make a decent change to the putters and you want the old stuff. Lol can't make everyone happy I guess

Agree the pro options should be available at retail - I have a hate on for stepped shafts and it looks like the saving the KBS stepless shafts for the pros as well.

Like the new products not surprisingly, but I want the same options the pros have plain and simple.

Just say'in!!

I wish TM would step back from what Callaway does with tour stuff, should make it all available to contrast to them.

Why does it seem like putters are getting uglier and uglier year after year? Also, no blades? Why?

All subjective, and I personally don't think the TM mallets look any worse than other OEMs...

In terms of blades, they offer the 'MyTP' options and have the usual blade shapes that anyone would want in customizable colours, necks, etc. (a great progam, and these blades look amazing - See mine pictured below).

Not sure what else anyone would need and TM is 'all in' on the technology of their inserts and I wonder if people would actually hit with them if opinions would change - Other OEM's use inserts (Odyssey's White Hot), Scottie's Terrilium, etc. There's only so much you can do w/milled faces and inserts provide more tech flex...

Inserts, paint chipping, etc. just seems at this point TM haters, but just my thoughts, but I'm admittedly very biased.

It boggles my mind why so many tour pros play TM mallets.. unless there's something else in them that the public doesn't get entirely, there's nothing about them that makes them any better than anything else imo. They look terrible, they don't feel better than anything else on the market with an insert.. and these? Is there a new Star Wars storm trooper movie coming out 🤮

For everyone hating on these putters.... Put one in your hands and watch what happens. They just work. The square shape is amazing for alignment. Their pure roll insert may not feel amazing, but the high tech putting sensors and equipment show that horizontal grooves get the ball rolling faster. They're all in on the insert and I don't blame them. As for this release of the spider, it's tough to improve on the original spider, but I think it's an improvement. They've kept the original design that makes the spider work, and they've slightly redistributed the weight with that back bar.

Go back and watch a USGA amateur. If you want to see what equipment works, go watch the best in the world who don't get paid to play equipment. I was there, and it's crazy how many of the players use the spider.

I just don't understand TM''s approach to the putter market, at all.  You can create some really nice pieces through their customization program, but there is virtually none of the options there or anything similar to them available at retail.  They just seem to be tweaking the same general designs over and over again.  Rory is using his spider and he's been loyal to it for a while.  Morikawa seems to be searching and has had a number of different ones over the past few years, I wonder if he's contractually obligated somehow to a full bag deal but since the various first few spider models there's been nothing with any sort of mass retail market appeal.

Oddly the best putter on the TM staff, and one of the very best on tour, is Taylor Montgomery using a very old ghost spider S that looks from all evidence to have been repainted with a spray can at some point, a black shaft that looks like its been dragged behind a car and a putter grip you can't even buy in the US.
