It was obvious in the group photo that all the sisters of the Delta Gamma house at UCLA had already consumed plenty of Riunite Lambrusco. 

 

Middle Row - the first gal on the left is wincing in pain because her sister in blue in front of her just stepped back and landed on the top of the big ginger's right foot with her high heeled shoe.

 

College girls were happier back then because they had less shaving to do. These gals only took care of their legs and arm pits and let the other area get down right bushy. 

 

The brunette in front row wearing the white stockings and purple velvet hot pants wins the cutest outfit award. Prince would approve.

... Golf game is sorta stuck on neutral. Even par coming into 18 with the ball above my feet but needed birdie to go under so played a risky 6 iron from 175 and it turned too much off the hill and went in the water. Dropped and LW'ed over a bunker and made the putt to save bogie but instead of a 71 shot a 73. 

... I am about 45 second into this clip. Kinda funny but most people remember this scene. look 2 days to shoot because we started with us in bed and not seeing him, then us in bed seeing him and pulling up the covers, then us getting out of bed in our under wear, then us putting on our clothes and finally the ver PG version Christopher Nolan used.

There is a reason for it.

Gentlemen I sometimes type in a larger size. I wear strong reading glasses and have since my middle 40's, UGH. When I write a more lengthy post I will use it as it's much easier for me to see the words. 

 

I celebrated today being the 8th with a special dessert. 

The Baked Pie Company has two locations in Asheville. Everything I have ever had from their south location has been delicious. I love homemade pecan pie and their honey pecan is the best I have ever had. They make different pies daily and they rotate the daily choices from a list of over 50 pies that they make. The interior of the business is just charming. It has a wonderful warm vintage feel, and many of you know the old stuff is my kick. I went with the Blueberry Sour Cream and it will be enjoyed with vanilla ice cream. I wonder if my late grandmother's head would spin if she knew I paid $8 for a slice of homemade pie? 😅

After some practice this morning I went to a business that I had not been to in 4 months or so. Play It Again Sports has a decent used club section and I have been friends with the two guys who run the store for years. I also support their softball team by attending many games during the summer. I kicked it around with them for 45 minutes catching up as I looked over all the clubs. Man did I found some interesting stuff. I got out my phone and started to take photos of the clubs that grabbed my attention knowing I wanted to later share them in the Lounge. 

 

Who the heck (well maybe chisag) could hit that tiny Mizuno Pro ll 2 iron?

Vintage Titleist PW   How about that grind?

... I was teaching when these came out and jumped on the Tommy Armor bandwagon. Put me on staff and sent me a sTour Bag and a set of these thru LW with the revolutionary lighter steel shafts when all anyone played was Dynamic Gold. I wanna say 120gms? But loved them and although I asked for ferrules like Freddie played they didn't offer that option, so I installed them myself.

my little guy has one kind of like that called a “strider”.

As I was looking in the putter section I discovered something that just blew my mind. I spied a very tattered Rife Two Bar headcover. I wondered first if the putter inside was indeed an actual Two Bar, and second was the putter itself as beat up as the cover. I got the oyster with the beautiful pearl inside. Under that rag of a headcover was an absolute mint condition Two Bar center shafted mallet. A perfect back up if something ever did happen to my gamer. The original grip was falling apart as Winn's  do after 10 years regardless of how much use they have seen. The shaft label was perfect as was the the tiny 35" sticker. I took right to the counter and made it mine with some stored credit I had. $45 bucks. It was just an unbelievable find. I have gamed mine for 6 years with only one season where I danced with a different lady, a Toulon Las Vegas with the Stroke Lab shaft. I bought my Two Bar used six years ago and it had seen already plenty of use but it did come with the complete weight kit and tool, the pearl did not.  

 

 February 8th was a lucky day !

You folks sure are lucky to be playing golf outside.

 

If I am reading the tea leaves correctly, if Chisag asks if you want to play for cash that is probably a bad bet.  I know Touch gets on crazy heaters and his handicap fluctuates like an ER EKG, and NCL plays a solid game straight down the middle.

 

Anyone else have golf stories from the outside world.  I am "working" on my game indoors, but working is in quotes because I think I am really screwing up my game.
