Only non-major manufacturer balls I've tried was Vice. Picked up a dozen because a couple buddies were just raving on them and was like "Eh, I'll give it a try - cool packaging art, too."

 

They were ... fine. Didn't love them around the green enough to have ever considered switching but beyond that ... god almighty, they got scraped up quick. If I didn't know better, I'd have thought someone slipped some old Maxfli balatas in my bag. 😂

Yup, I got two dozen a while back. Great ball for the money. I like the feel of the AVX off the putter better but the V3 is good.

My sister bought me a 2 pack of the V3s for my birthday. I used 2 sleeves and went back to the AVX. For me the V3 was shorter and feel wasn’t as good. Considering the big price difference, I wasn’t expecting them to be equal.

I found one the other day chipped with it some and it seemed as good as anything else out there. We do have a lot of vacationers here playing golf. Callaway must have a Super Sale going because lately I have found a bunch of Super Softs. I have darn near a dozen in good shape in general. I may play them one round this week to see. Lately in league play and shootouts I have been playing the Srixon Marathon balls since I have so many (2 15 ball packs). Even though they are a 2 piece ball I like them. Now in our monthly event I switch to the Srixon Q Star Tour which I still have like 5 dozen left

You would be able to tell if they were Maxfli balata when you cut one with your 8802 forged putter.

I have some good news. There will be a round of golf for me after all during this long 4th of July weekend. I wasn't feeling 7 shifts in a row so I got someone to cover for me today. I have a 2:30 tee time with my buddies. Sadly though this is our current weather. Yesterday it was steaming. Yikes !

I am like you in the respect I play in the neighborhood of 20 rounds a month. I have a massive stock of Srixon balls for now. I generally do not lose many balls but our course beats them up quite a bit too. LOL went through the bag the other day to basically replenish stock. I had like 3 of the Srixon Marathon balls I had anywhere from 27 to 36 holes on. They were pretty well battered so they went to the shag bag. And yes I agree more than likely if I keep playing as much as I do I will eventually have to buy balls. The Kirkland is certainly an attractive price.

Edit--- you know what I have been through and I never thought I would be able to state I can physically get 20 rounds a month in. I relish each and every one regardless of how I play
