Just saw on the broadcast that Rory is using the pro sender and the Tour Striker smart ball.

He’s used the smart ball, on and off for years. Seems that it helps him organize his 1/2 to 3/4 swings. He’s said he can’t make a full swing w it like some of the other Tour guys?

The “compression sphere” rides low in the wrists. I guess Foley likes it there even though his former guy, Rosie, doesn’t care for it that low. It’s certainly easier when the ball is lower.

Rory likes the feel of his hand settling in the cradle it seems. Just goes to show you, subtle feels from devices can really help. Gankas’ clicker and Chuck’s clicker do the same.

anymore feedback from users who have had to actually paid for one, lots of pros and prominent teaching pros talking it up (most of whom will have been given one)

I’ve continued working with the ProSendr since it came out. I’m a huge fan thus far! I’ve gone from big misses of huge hooks or overdraws and contact way out on the toe to straight balls or fades with misses being on the heel. Still getting the motor memory of the feels without it on, but that will come with more hard work.

I feel like this trainer ticks most the boxes of things I need to improve and would help me a lot. $170 is a tough pill to swallow for a shoehorn with a strap and a doggy toy. Fair price $49. Reasonable price $79. Even for $120 I would probably still take the plunge. Guess I’ll be waiting for a sale or the Amazon version.

In the meantime, some balled up socks for a makeshift compression ball might work. 🤔

I’ve seen some listed on the BST, just be on the lookout and you’ll get one at that plunge price of 120!

Of all of the training aids that purport to help with trail wrist extension , I like this one the best . It does NOT force you to hold or maintain trail wrist extension , but uses the TACTILE  feel of the foam ball against the wrist  to do so.
I developed a home made version of this aid , but would recommend the extra expense for this aid.

Anyone who bought this find the strap to be too short?  I can barely get it Velcro'd and I don't have that fat of wrists, haha feels like it needs to be 1-2" longer minimum

Yep, I can barely get the Velcro to fasten. I was told by the company that they have an XL strap coming out soon.

I haven't used it since I bought it cause the strap barely velcros. I'm not a big guy either, makes me wonder whose wrist this strap fits, haha

@casey_0507 I have to stretch is very hard to barely get the strap to fasten. Then, I have to turn the thing around my wrist. We probably have large wrists - normal bracelets, etc. don't fit me. So far, I love the results I'm getting with my net at home, but I've yet to take it to the range due to time constraints.

Took the Prosendr for an abbreviated range session while in Florida. Struck the ball very well with P-wedge and 7-iron.

Then, I tried it with the driver. I hit the driver very well - very accurate shots. Took the Prosendr off and was 50/50 with some great drives. But I was doing things quickly, too.

My habit is lunging forward at P5 so the Prosendr slows me down and keeps me in sync. Can’t wait to really train with it.

Im sure the ProSendr works great but for me I have the Power Package and it's been my go to for helping me find my wrist set feels. I've had this for 10 years and still in perfect condition, gets the job done.

Do you set it up the conventional way or more at 1 o'clock ? I seem to remember setting it straight down in line with shaft results in a toe up position at P2.

Probably 1 O'clock I set it up a little to the right in a stronger position. Love doing freezer drills with it.

Got an email from them, nearly $300 if you want all the  protocol videos. Normally they are included with training aids. These boys really know how to market products for maximum profit. Hats off I guess

Tear off a yard of tin foil from pantry. Fold it onto itself until you get a sturdy rectangle about 6” x 4“. Get a rubber band off the broccoli in your fridge. Form the tin foil rectangle onto the back of your right hand, bend it back and form it. Fold any pokey edges under for comfort. Hold the “TinSendr” in place w broccoli band.  If you already have good wrist angles, your TinSendr will be awesome. If you suck, you’ll continue to suck. But, this way, you can still take your spouse out for a nice dinner and bottle of wine.

This works , although I substituted a Velcro cloth band for the rubber band.

My son likes the pro sendr so far.  Training hard with it and his swing does look better.

He played in a competition in St Andrews and apparently putted like a donkey so did badly - literally 42 putt per round territory.

First round out since getting it was a mediocre 12 greens in regulation and two lost balls in wind and rain.  Next was 17 greens in regulation - generally good proximity to hole.  Third round was 15 greens in regulation.  All of the back tees.  He thinks it’s fixing his takeaway, pivot and arm/wrist action  so a fairly complete swing fix.

He’s going to let me use it soon but he says he strongly recommends.  My jury is out but we’ll see if this gets him going really well in competitions once he gets his putter hot again.

Has anyone figured out how to use the compression ball well to help train their swing?

I can’t seem to get it in the right position. And when I do try to use it I have to put a lot of tension in my arms to squeeze it.

Same here, ball feels very strange for me. I usually don't have an issue of keeping my arms extended, elbows in, so maybe I shouldn't even be using it.

Gonna order a PowerLag Pro to compare to the ProSendr. Might end up returning the ProSendr as I barely even tried it.

i've been using this for a few weeks.  (haven't tried the ball yet). It was shocking at first how much right wrist extension I needed to get into the cradle. I think I need to work on getting more width in the downswing while keeping the extension in the wrist.  I tend to get narrow and have too much lag if anything normally so adding more extension in the right wrist on the backswing has been an odd feeling that kind throws off my swing on the course.  Overall I think it is a great training aid and I am going to continue to use it.  I can see how it will be helpful in the long term and the best part is that I don't feel self conscious using it on the range.
