Buying Single Sleeves

Outside of local pro shops, are there any options where you can by single sleeves of balls to try/test?

You can buy single sleeves on Ebay. Probably overpriced by the time you add shipping.

It's a pain in the rear with Golftown in Canada.  They like to only sell dozens and if you want to try out a sleeve of something, you are SOL if that ball isn't in a local proshop where you can get a sleeve.

My LGS sells sleeves.  Only time I buy a sleeve is to test a ball.

Golf Galaxy has always done single sleeves.

The golf pro shop is still the best place. I have found they will even break up dozens, if they don't have it on the shelf as a sleeve. Although, they are from the most popular balls.

Seems like a nice eBay business, by dozens, break them up, resell them as test packs. ProV1x, Prov1, Bridgestone RX, Bridgestone RS, Callaway CS, CSX, LS. Srixons etc. Same with some Two piece and various DTC, though some do that already. 
 

would you buy Provs, Bridgestone, Callaway Taylormade dozens for say $70? To test before loading up? This is WRX after all.

That would be pretty cool.  buy a dozen with 3 of each X type tour ball or whatever models are typically compared to each other

Golf Galaxy, PGA Tour Superstore both sell single sleeves (at least in my area).  Try going online to see if they're available there too. Postage might be a dis-incentive, however.

After reading earlier replies, I went into both my local Golf Galaxy and PGATSS this afternoon. They did indeed have sleeves available. However, the balls available were very limited to only a handful of different selections. None of which were the balls that I was interested in trying.

 

I do have have to admit that I thought about the eBay idea of buying dozens and selling individual sleeves. Not sure it would be financially feasible by the time it is all said and done.
