Where did you see that?

That would mean the "3 club parallel" design would NOT apply.

Instead you'd have 2 Iron through P Wedge each with a dedicated shaft.

Golfshaftsamerica.com put this out in an email this morning. Nothing mentioned on Fuji’s website as of now.

is axiom 105 going to feel similar to Modus 105? Looking to go lighter but not sure about moving to 75 grams low

Yes, those actually feel pretty similar to me. Modus 105X might feel a little more linear than Axiom 105 X, but really close

thanks for that. Would it be too much of a weight loss to try axiom 75 or is that pushing it? Im looking for a little bit lighter and easier on my body then steel.

That would be a big enough jump that you’d want to demo first. I bet Axiom 75 is a lot softer than 105

Try both but that is a big jump, I find the Axiom 105 to be pretty smooth and automatic, the 75 was too light for me and I am a previous Nippon 950/1150/105 player who also enjoyed the Recoil Prorotype in 110. The Axiom so far are GIR machines and game changers!

thanks for that, appreciate the info. How do the axioms to compare to the 105 that u had previously. They feel lighter, but just as stable? Where did u get one to demo?

Does this mean Fujikura is doing the taper tip options now and leaving it out of the hands of the builder?

I don't fully know the Fujikura strategy with the taper tips because its not exactly the above.

Their main production will continue to be the parallel tip versions as far as i know. The taper tips are only available in very limited quantities in 105 and 125.

Is anyone on tour playing axiom yet? I have not seen any in all the WITBs we have posted here.

Just got off the phone with them. They told me the shafts they send to OEM’s are mainly taper tip and parallel tip to Club Builders

Demo day for today is ZX5 vs Mizuno 225

Steelfiber 95s vs 95R, MMT 95s, Modus 105s and Project x LZ

Ultimately if I was better I would not have to waste my time doing this I could just accept I am not good and move on. But was a shaft ho I am looking for perfection and so far cant find it. Project X LZ i hit 5 balls with yesterday and it went higher then anything else on the list. Will report back

I am a modus 120x/Oban 115x player. Currently have a set of Oban 115x shafts in my Iron set. For those that have gone with the axiom, what have you noticed that fits better: the 125x or the 105x?

I recently tested the 105x and while I can stripe it and generally play it very well, I am worried that the lighter weight wont help with my current chunking issue. maybe it does... If I get to fast with it, I do tend to thin it, and distances are not what I usually see out of a shaft. that being, I am flying the ball farther.. 7i can get into the 180 yardage range.
