Does anyone know the significance of the number 10 for Rahm? I know he plays #10 balls, and all his wedges are stamped with 10. Also, never seen those red Paradym headcovers, are they for something specific?

Those wedges must be raw and soft with all that scratching. Interesting that it's all over the place even on the 52. Lot of sand work.

Interesting how many of his wear marks are shaded slightly towards the heel. He mentioned in his driver fitting video with Callaway this year that his favorite thing about the last two Callaway models was the heel/draw bias, which does suggest he's a heel miss guy and wants that protection the driver.

A 5 wood, a 21 degree utility iron, and a 4 iron? Surely one of those gets swapped out, yeah? Unless he is playing his 4 with extra loft?

5 Wood or utility rotates I would assume, otherwise it's 15 clubs. 

 

Looks like he's been spending a lot of time in the practice bunker even with the 52. And those fairways look so good.

I read somewhere that his fairways are tour-only TD heads that are deeper than the retail models. Maybe someone else know more. Honestly, I was surprised by how shallow the retail TD fairways were. I was hoping for a really deep face!

They are, they look very similar to the Rogue triple diamonds he had before. Glued hosel and a much deeper face than retail for sure.

Callaway can't seem to make up their minds with the hosel. lol I used to game a Rogue ST LS 5 wood and it was glued. I have recently picked up the Paradym TD 3 wood and it has an adaptor. lol 🤷‍♂️

@newportbeach am I right in assuming that’s a Greyson logo? If so, I just got my first Greyson jacket. Absolutely phenomenal. Definitely won’t be my last!

Love the look of those fairways.  Hit the Paradym at a fitting and felt dead to me (but gave good numbers) but boy, those are some of the sexiest fairways around in my opinion.

Rahm is a big soccer fan and in soccer the number 10 is normally worn by the best player. He said it’s been his favourite number since he was a kid.

Nope. They are built off of the JAWS Forged (MD5) which Rahm loved from last year. It's a limited tour-only run of wedges for him and other players who want them - and they dont have the stupid face-and-toe-only rusting 'raw' thing going on, either.

Every Callaway staffer had to loft up this year by at least half a degree of loft or more with the Paradym from the Rogue ST. The heads spin lower.

That is definitely not representative of a “standard” Rahm drive. His recent Paradym fitting video has his preferred/standard numbers which are pretty much optimal. 10-12* launch and 2,200-2,400 spin is what he looks for. He’ll get really up on it when he wants to hit the high bomb, but his more aggressive forward shaft lean means he delofts the club a bit, hence needing more loft.

Is there a similar grind to that 60 in their stock offerings? They seem similar to some old cally wedges I had

IIRC it's a C-grind. Thats what the JAWS Forged was in all models and thats what Rahm played in the MD5, I think.

Those really are beauty of fairway woods. Reminds me of the super deeps from back in the day that were tee monsters.
