Titleist T200 Legit Check

Hey all. I bought these T200 2019 irons a couple of weeks ago second hand. I took them for a hit and they felt off so I looked closer at them, comparing details to the website, and they seem like they could be fake. Could you help me confirm this and if possible, provide specifics around why you think these might be fake? Thank you in advance!

Hope you can return them, just looking at the iron font alone on the sole tells me fake. Especially since under the “P” the loft of 43 is completely missing.

This is from the Titleist website:

The black lines on the back look off to me, and the circular weight (is it a weight?) appears to be a little different.

Could just be lighting, though.

The soles don't look good at all, the numbering is so thin. And the "MAXIMPACT" lettering is so bad. I'm calling fake...

Titleist made T200 irons in 2019, they look quite similar to the ones you posted.   Check for the Titleist number on the hosel.  I am a Titleist equipment guy, all of them are numbered.  Details on your club may be worn so expecting them to be exact may be unrealistic.  But if you really want to know contact Titleist and send them pics.  They sure have changed from my new T200 2i & 4i.  🙂

All of them are numbered only if they were custom spec'd clubs. Anything off the rack or ordered without any customizations only have 1 of the clubs with the serial number on it.

 

My 712 MBs have it only on the 6 iron, my new T100s have it only on the 4 iron!

 

 

 

 

BUT these are clearly fake. Look at the gap between the "T" and "200". Look at the font on the soles. Where it says "Max Impact" is totally off. Everything just is off.

 

Also, unless someone got Titleist tour velvet grips after the fact, no way Titleist is letting them leave the factory with excess grip tape hanging out the bottom.

Thanks, but each of my sets, 3-PW 620 MBs and 3-PW 620 CBs, 718 T-MB set, and 716 CBs were purchased off the rack of my buddies LGS, each club is numbered.  My T200 2&4i, and T100s 5-W were custom order and each is numbered, as well.

I’m not a Titleist expert as I’m sure some on here are… but the Max Impact screw is what really leads me to believe these are knock offs. The OEMs don’t release items that have inconsistent or imperfect fonts, and your irons definitely seem to have that. Sorry and hope everything works out for you on these!
