I was hoping TGW made the pre-orders available since I have a couple of gift cards. Not looking good though.

 

I did notice the Callaway site now says “orders expected to ship between mid-September and November”. November is a tough pill to swallow.

I did the same. Usually play my putters at 33” though so may end up trimming another 1/2” to an inch off after testing.

I wasn’t a fan of the US Open head-cover but I’ll probably just use my own personal one anyways.  What’s the new one look like?

Surprised/not surprised by the price tag. Will be interesting to see how long this Jailbird's 15 minutes of fame is.

No, I actually had a spare .390 laying around from a mis-order last year that I never cared to return. So, I am just playing around and will probably add some weights up top. not sure yet. 

 

Grip delivers tonight so will report back after the weekend after I put it into play.

I didn’t think it was too bad yesterday.  There were a couple hours of system issues but Cally/Odyssey rebounded quickly and everyone who wanted one seemed to get one.  I sure wish certain Jordan releases went this smooth…

It sounds petty but I do really hope they put the O works bottom on.  I bet they don't and it's like Keegans, but you never know.  I mean I wish they would lead tape it to be honest, to make it that much more authentic.

I’m kind of surprised Cally/Odyssey did not show the bottom of the putter.  Adds to the suspense I guess…

I wouldn’t buy anything off of eBay if it took 3 months to be delivered.  I think they only give you 90 days to dispute so that would be cutting it too close.

I’d be surprised if they don’t. There were a few Jailbird minis with the Oworks insert and sole weights on Ebay a few months ago (I actually saw one in person in the used-putter section at my local pgatss). So it probably makes more sense logistically to manufacture their typical Oworks Jailbird, and then throw on some heavy sole-weights, versus manufacturing a 380g Jailbird with no sole weights; which they’ve probably never done before, I doubt Keegan’s JB weighs that much.
