What are the flattest lie putters?

I like em low....  like 60* or so.  What are the lowest out there... even custom stuff?

 

LAB putters used to offer 60* on their website years ago but only more upright now. I need to call em and see if can still do.

 

My putter is an older SeeMore Giant that I pulled the shaft out, grinned the metal down and glued the shaft back in so it's 65* and works but isn't flat enough.  I catch the heal fat sometimes. If I make it lower it loses its face balanced properties... have a Cure putter too that adjusts to 62* but not low enough.

I'm curious why so flat? Like do you set your hands low and stand 3ft back from the ball? 

 

As for options, I'm sure most custom putter makers could make a super flat lie putter especially if the neck is welded and then bent to spec. Just depends what you want to pay and if they are willing.

I guess you can always play what works for you. But....if it's not working really well, maybe try to switch up that setup a bit lol

Yes my putter is bout 41" I hold traditional but hands in close to body and putter away from body..... putting is a strength too lol

 

But toe is in the air so not good...

What model putter do you use? I just went through a litting and my putter was adjusted to 66*

I use a SeeMore Giant... the older one that is larger.....  I pulled the shaft myself and dremeled the hole lower and glued the shaft back in at 65*.... I wanted it around 60* but lost its face balanced properties.... In fact I got lucky it glued in so straight and not pointing off c0ck eyed lol

Yes, that’s the issue with center shafted putters, as the lie changes so does the toe hang. Ping made an Anser C, which was a center shaft putter but with a plumbers neck. You could bend that one flat but not affect the face balance. You can probably pick up one of those cheap since they weren’t as popular as the other models.

Have you messaged any putter makers? Very likely one can make you something very flat for the same price as a LAB.

Didn't know that was an option..... always played center shafted.... will the toe hang get less with more lie??

Haha I think LAB putters are expensive but would get one if I loved it, prob haven't ordered cause dont wanna screw up the specs at that price lol

Toe hang can be determined by where the shaft(if continued straight down into the putter) would be in relation to its COG. Center shafted putters, if centered with COG would be face balanced. 
 

If you took something with say a short flow neck that has a lot of toe hang like 5:00 and bent it flat, that shafts intersect point would get closer and closer to center and have less and less toe hang the flatter it’s bent.
 

If you take something that already is face balanced or has very little toe hang and bent it considerably flatter, it would become toe up.

Just picked up a used FGX... but from the old British Isles 🐑 so take a minute to get to Cali.... sounds like they are shipping it using Raft.com 🙄

I must add. By your perfect drawing above , you also need to invest in some larger hats 🎩 😂.   That one isn’t doing you any good for UV coverage. You appear to have a big old Melon like me.

My Cure RX4 can get down to 61°.  You could remove some of the aluminum (Dremel, file, or mill) that I drew over with the red line below, then you can even get into the 50s.

 

I first thought you could reshaft with a Golfworks hosel, then bend, which is also possible, but you would end up with heel hang.  The grind away above is the better option if you want to test on your Cure.
