There is no tech port. 
 

so i made some revision to the putter. Found out from their limited release that the head weight is 380. Also it uses Tank shaft so it should be around 150g for the shaft + 100g for the grip since Rickie’s putter is 631g and Wyndham’s is 636 according to the Callaway. 
 

so i changed the head weight to 380 by swapping to 2 x 25g weight then added 30g of lead tape inside the putter shaft. I did it by rolling the lead tape around an unused steel shaft sticky side out and inserted into the putter shaft so the sticky side would stick to inner wall of the putter shaft and put the grip back on. Mine is now 635g like the Wyndham’s and it feels great.

Tried looking for it but can't find it. You just have to use lead tape.

One thing I do not understand is that to recreate this feel, could you have a shorter putter, let's say 34", with a similar headlight and then put a weight in the grip to make up to account for the missing weight? Would that work or does the overall length the putter play another role?

The biggest difference with this putter is, it feels like your hands are on top of a pendulum and you are following its movement rather than you creating the movement.

 

So the putting stroke feels consistent every single time, and it prevents your wrist from making any movement helping with straight stroke. My usual miss was I was pulling having the longer putter completely eliminated that.

I just bought one off CPO and in the "like new" and it was brand new with the wrapping on it still.  I went to change the grip as i have the stroke lab shaft and they come with a weight in the top of the shaft if you did not know.  I forgot to see how much it weighs as i already installed the grip but it was a pretty big weight.

Thanks. That’s exactly what I am doing and my putter from CPO is set to arrive on Thursday. Did you extend the putter with the stroke lab shaft and put the weight back in?

It's almost impossible to extend the stroke lab shaft.

 

1. If you use graphite extension which fits the shaft, none of the graphite extension has large opening at the end to accept the weight plug.

2. There isn't a steel shaft extension that will fit into the stroke lab shaft. 

3. Guess you can try to use an old graphite shaft that's cut to do this, but I do not like to extend it that way. 

 

Thus i ordered the steel shafted one.

I did the same thing with an odyssey 7. 
 

I ordered the jailbird but there’s nothing special about that head. It’s the counterbalancing that’s different. Brian Harman just one with a counterbalanced putter too.  I think we will see a lot more soon from other oems. 
 

Also another plug for the superstroke XL grip. No need for a 17 inch grip if you are gripping down 3-4 inches. The XL works just fine and doesn’t look ridiculous.

I have a stroke lab shaft on a toulon seattle (i guess the toulon version of jailbird) and was looking to extend it cause I like my putter at around 36" anyway. I ran into the conundrum of that counter weight when trying to extend it. Mine was a 40g counterweight.

 

Yes you are right the extension doesnt fit the weight but seemingly not wanting to waste the counter weight I bored out the graphite extension on the butt end to fit the plug snug. It does thin out the walls of the extension but since its a putting stroke I did not feel there was any instability or anything after extension.

it has been a true eye opening experience for me. 
 

I am having the best putting rounds. I am so aggressive that because of that I am making more putts.

I have a putter that I did this to back in 2014.  A word of caution, some shafts for traditional length/weight putters are lighter weight than the same style of shaft for a belly putter due to the headweight difference.  So you may be able to feel the shaft flex during the stoke.  Some love that, some don't.

It’s not a Jailbird, but I converted my Phantom X 5.5. Added a 2” extension to 36” and put on a Winn 15” grip. Feels good and very stable for shorts putts.

I’m not sure on the weight. I just had them build it and tried it on their indoor mat. It felt good and I bought some lead tape, but haven’t added any yet. I played 6 holes on Sunday and had very good results. Made some good lag putts and made a 5 ft and 20 ft putt. It’s a very comfortable feel.

Great to hear!  It’s definitely been a “game changer” for my putting.  Your putter looks nice, may have to do one myself.

Sub70 004 head with 2 × 20g weights for a 400g head. Extended to 38 5/8 in., and painted the head. Coming in right now at 637g.

This was something I was looking into, knowing Sub 70 heads are so heavy and with the weight kit, even better.

 

I need to call them up to see how much they could dial in with a custom order, ill drop the info here for others when I do.

Here is mine, I took a red one I received as payment last year and stripped it, because I hated the red color.  I extended it, as I wanted to play around with split handed putting for speed control testing.  It was light and I was going to order weights, but then happened to see Rickie playing with one and saw the lead tape.  So I ordered some wide lead tape from Amazon, found the super stroke grip online and ordered it all.

 

Played it with bare metal for awhile until I got blinded a couple of times and painted it about two months ago, then just ordered some heavy duty paint and went to work.  I want to duracoat or Cerakote it, but I am putting so well with it at this point that I don't want to mess with it at all.
