Favorite putters, even old classics...

How many still own old putters from a few years ago, and just can't seem to replace them?  I absolutely love my 2010 Odyssey White Hot 2.0 XG 1, and just can't put it in the closet.  It permanently stays in my bag!  How about you?  What's your #1 favorite putter?

My 2 favorite putters of all time are

Bobby Grace MacGregor M5K V-Foil

Ping IWI B60

Still have both and pull them out when I struggle, especially the V-Foil

2010 Odyssey White Ice #2. I bought it for $90 brand new when it came out and still use it occasionally.

I have a White Ice #7 that pretty much mirrors your experience - although I'm pretty sure I got mine used from CPO. I happily played it for many years. Still dig it out occasionally to mess around with.

It's the poor man's White Hot Pro.

The Scotty Cameron Teryllium T22 Newport is my all time favourite putter. in recent years I have moved away from blades and have putted with a selection of mallets but last week I was in a golf store and putted out of this world with an Odyssey White Hot Versa One CH which is a similar shape but I found the versa alignment colour scheme amazing for alignment.

I’ve got two bullseyes from the 1970s. One was my late father’s and the other one is mine. Actually tried them out 4 or so years go but now regulated to my golf shrine with his old driver.

My Oil Can Newport made it back into the bag a couple of years ago and has been rock solid ever since. Still the original finish on this one.

Original Odyssey #9 plain. All the other versions of this have too much going on for my eye. The original was just built for my forward press to start my putting stroke.

Wow dude ... That is one well-cared-for flatstick.

10+ years in the bag and looks like new ... Good for you. Some guys putters look like they drag 'em home tied to the bumper after the round.

These photos aren't recent. Although the only difference is some brushing on the sole.

I have two; and one of them is also a White Hot XG

My $60 Odyssey White Hot XG #7 I purchased after my first paycheck and it was my first big brand putter ~2009.

My first Scotty Cameron - Circa 62 #6. Purchased 2nd hand from a local collector.

Both of these are still in my regular rotation.

Some of us do.

That'll teach it a lesson.

But seriously, I can't stand looking down and seeing a (seriously) beat-up club when I'm getting ready to hit a shot. Not saying it needs to look perfect, some wear on the face of an iron or wedge is not a problem. Marks on the sole I can't see.

But if the face of a putter is not pretty much smooth and ding-free, I just can't seem to trust it to put a good roll on the ball. So all the Anser putters I own have clean faces and toplines, even if the shaft or sole or flange is nowhere close to mint looking.

And if a driver has a skymark on the crown, that's just a reminder of some awful shot (mine or the previous owner's) in the past. Bad karma, man.
