Vikings always do well in the regular season, Falcons have the easiest schedule in a poor division, and in that same poor division, Saints have the best QB setup. That’s what I’m rolling with, anyway.

As much as I don’t want to see it, I think they’re going to put too much on Prescott. Pollard is pretty small to be the #1 back and he runs hard. Defense is always overrated.

I still think the Jets might tank, but I wouldn’t hate seeing them get there. Can you tell I just finished a couple of episodes of Hard Knocks??? Rodgers looks edgy. Too bad the Colts are also in the AFC. Otherwise, I would have gone with Jets over Colts.

Also don't forget to make your Super Bowl Prediction.  It's real simple.  Just pick the AFC and NFC team you think will meet in the Super Bowl and the total points for the game.  If your 2 teams make the big game and your score is within 7 points, you will be awarded a 25 point bonus. For example my SB picks are:

49ers vs Bengals (64 pts)

OK, I have a couple of teams in mind for the Super Bowl, and I never win these early season things because I always pick one dark horse, but not this year.

 

Philadelphia is going back to the super bowl.

Kansas City is going back as well.

 

Parity has made the guess more of a crapshoot than ever before, but I don't see Mahomes getting hurt which would stop them and I don't care if Hurts gets hurt because they are simply an amazing team.

I don’t think I gave a SB point total. Jets and Niners reverse the offensive trend with their dominating defenses. Purdy leads Niners to an early TD, but on the next drive, drops the ball and after he picks it up, he pulls a Garo  Yepremian by trying to pass left handed and dislocates his left elbow this time. With Trey Lance at the helm, Niners never threaten again and Jets win 16-7. Rodgers runs off the field holding up a finger, but not the same one as Namath.

 

Total points=23.

... While they do have faith in Purdy it is much more having no faith in Lance. I never understood the pick.

Lance will not get much in a trade for all the draft capital he cost them.  He's on a rookie salary. So unless another team offers up some picks I doubt he will be traded anytime soon.  He needs to sit and learn. And get some practice reps.  This was a Jon Lynch pick from what I heard.  But I might be wrong.  They envisioned him running Shanahan's RPO offense like RG3 did in his rookie year

Thank goodness for him Purdy did what he did (what are the odds) Otherwise who’s their QB1?! Coulda (shoulda) been really ugly.
