Always liked CV as a player, especially when he carried a 6 hybrid 🙂 . Good to see him out playing again. With his putter is her armlocking or is it a counterbalance long grip only?

just found this highlight from earlier in the season of him putting with the mezz in a counter balance style. Would be interested to know how one of the longer superstroke grips impacts the LAB tech

thanks for that. Strange how many counterbalance type putters are coming out now. I remember a fair few been released after the long putter ban, I think Scotty had the Dual Balance and Odyssey had the Tank versions. I still putt with the Spider Mallet as love the feel of the heavy head and grip. May have to look at a LAB now :):):)

I messaged LAB and was told that their technology could not be used counterbalanced.  It sure looks like that is what he is doing.  That putt looks too long for him to be just tapping in with an armlock, but who knows.  Axis1 no torque putters can be used counterbalanced, like Rai was using last week.

Also interesting that using the SS grip defeats the purpose of LAB’s press grip. Wonder if he had to make any adjustments to the loft to account for that.

Looks like 5 hybrid, then ZX5 5 iron, ZX7 6-PW.

 

Hybrid probably goes quite a bit farther than his 5 iron to hit the gaps.

Anyone else notice that he's lost a ton of ss?  It was said that he was 120 ss back in his prime.  His ball speed seems to have dropped off significantly down to the mid 160's.  Also, he's lining up that driver heel side but farther inside which seems bizarre.

Yeah it’s wacky.  When I talked to the lab about a counterbalanced putter they said that it did not work with the way they balance their putters.

Yeah, he needs to get off the road bike and get back to the gym and start lifting weights. I can say this from personal experience. LOL.

everytime I see his arms I just think of how easy it would be to start an IV in him!! those veins!

Well, he's been known to get on a stationary bike and ride for hours.  Pretty sure he still lifts as he still looks fit.  He probably has an injury history and being over 40 certainly doesn't help the cause, lol.  I can say this from personal experience as well.  I'm sure your patients include old broken down men like myself, haha.

Fellow doctor/healthcare worker? I remember putting in IVs in my first year of residency and I thought the same thing when I saw him lol
