Cobra LTDx or Radspeed?

I hit the Radspeed better than the Aerojet

But I hit the LTDX LS better than the rad speed

By better I mean a little longer, less sideways deviation and felt more solid overall

For the price I was very impressed by the rad

9.0 degrees

stock x-stiff option shaft

coming from an TM M2 driver

Ive had the M2, is the rad just as stable?

To me the Radspeed XB and the Ltdx have been equally amazing the times I’ve owned them and still are excellent today.

XB Radspeed … most forgiving and best sounding.  Slight draw bias which is perfect for most

Like Ping Gmax forgiving without that extra distance or more pop in XB?

I’ve always felt the XB was as long as anything else

I have the LTDx and my kid has the Radspeed. They’re extremely similar in most respects. I feel like the LTDx is a little more forgiving of mediocre swings. Either one is a great stick.

I hit the Radspeed in my last fitting and didn't get along with it; ended up getting a Sim2. Fast forward a couple years and I buy an LTDx on a whim and it promptly kicks the Sim2 out of the bag and it wasn't even close. I've never hit a driver this good in my life.

Idk what to say 🤷‍♂️

I only have experience with the LTDx which is still in my bag. It's as long as anything I've hit. It's very stable. Won't fix a horrible swing. But, I find you can pretty much pepper the face and the ball will go which ever way the face is pointing. I've hit some pretty badly off the toe and heel and not lost a ton of distance.

I love my Radspeed, have not hit the LTDX. I'm not a huge fan of the milled face but I do love the infinity face aspect which combats my irrational fear of sky marks. I've played the XB and the regular with the heavier weight out back is what I settled on as I much prefer the head shape of the standard over the XB.

You didnt have any issue getting good launch with the standard Rad?

What loft and shaft you use in the LTDx? Remember why you didnt like the rad?

I have a RadSpeed and it flies farther than the LTDx for me and my swing

And by farther I mean maybe 5 yds on a consistent basis, so not much

The LTDx feels a little more solid, with the ReadSpeed I feel the trampoline effect more

Your results may vary

Good luck

How big of a difference in "stability/forgiveness" did you feel with the heavy weight back on the std vs the XB? I'm in the same boat, I like the std shape better

I can't comment on the Radspeed, but I played the Speedzone Xtreme for a while, then got the LTDx as a warranty replacement. I can say I honestly liked the Speedzone better than the newer LTDx. Sounded better IMO and I like the infinity face for the skymark prevention lol

Its pretty cool, must be the first brand that really adresses the skymarks. 😆 I never had issues with high strikes, more low strikes. But anything can happen.

I liked the Radspeed much better than the LTDx overall. It was faster, seemed more forgiving, and felt like it smashed the ball every time. The only downside I had with the Radspeed was it was a little harder to square up for me. My miss was usually right with Radspeed, but because it was so low spin, even the fades were REALLY long. Radspeed XB launched way too high for me. It seemed like a great idea on paper, but it launched to the moon.

LTDx looked a little better at address, and was easier to get the face to square up, but lacked the feel of the Radspeed. It is still a solid club, but if I was to pick one of those two, I'm going Radpseed all day.

Forgiveness wise I didn't notice any difference at all, I think mostly due to the comfort level in head shape. The smaller head makes me feel like I can get around on the ball and square up easier. It's hard to compare bc I was never finding the center on the xb (my fault not the club's). Overall I think because there is some fixed weighting in the front of the radspeed head apples to apples xb will be more forgiving but I value confidence level way more.

That's what I figured, probably minimal on the difference. And to your point, confidence with a club will go much further than most tech lol

I was in the same boat as you OP. Just got my XB based on reviews here and elsewhere with Motore X F1. It is as long as my Epic Max LS and maybe a bit more forgiving. Maybe honeymoon phase but I am liking the look (blue head) and feel more than the Epic max.

Nice to hear. I had the F9 and then went Callaway and Ping. I liked the F9 cause it felt lighter to swing, same thing when I demoed the Speedzone, so I want to go back to Cobra!

I'm using a 10.5 in the standard head model and the Atmos blue 6s.

I'll have to dig up my fitting results email from a couple years ago to see what I tried exactly. I just remember it didn't perform for me. I always value dispersion over distance, so that was likely the issue.

Looking at those two models. Possibly even the XB. Which one did you prefer? Off center strikes? Most stable? Fastest? Which shaft you used? Did you change the head weight or did any other modifications? TIA!

wow... someone else looking at going the same route as me.  I currently have a SIM 2 max D, well until tomorrow at least when the buyer picks it up.  I am going to be picking my new to me mint XB up from a local seller early next week.
