Anyone order from them lately?  I got a quote and it was not their normal pricing.  Something change?

I got a quote from them back a few months ago for a set of pxgs.  Total cost  was no better than ordering from pxg direct.

I don’t know.  I know Oregon does not have state sales tax.  I think the laws (or enforcement) about collecting sales tax for out of state sales may have changed?

I ordered from them a couple months ago. Srixon and Titleist. Also got a quote on Wilson. pricing was exactly as I expected from what I've seen in the past

Retail price but no tax and free shipping only when I ordered a Scotty phantom when it was released.

I ordered a few pxg woods from them about 3 years ago. It was the same back then for pxg.  Retail price but no tax or shipping charges.  (Also, they did not sell the 0211 line).  I think each brand might get it's own discount.

I asked for a price on a Ping driver and have bought multiple Ping items from them before and never got straight retail price before.

They quoted me a set of PXG's a couple month ago and it was almost identical to the PXG Heros pricing.  PXG charges tax and shipping, DD has no tax or shipping.  Both prices were the same out the door.

Nobody is allowed to discount Ping.  If you get caught Ping will pull your account.  Several years ago DD lost its Ping account for selling under MSRP.  Obviously they've got it back but you won't get discounts anymore.

Yeah, you gotta know what to buy and what not to buy. Ping stuff, just pick it up from BST if you want to save as every where else, you are paying MSRP.

As I stated earlier I’ve bought multiple Ping items always free ship no tax.  This is a change from prior

PXG and Ping do NOT allow discounts or you lose your account, so they do offer discounts on other oems.

And NO Sales tax and FREE shipping!

They do collect sales tax for Washington state orders.  I am able to confirm that much.

I ran into the same situation as the OP. I have a feeling some of the manufacturers are in their business again.  Shame. 

 

I wouldn't be too perplexed if I hadn't submitted for my military rebate for Ping products this year and still not received them 4 months later.

 

Love ping but don't like some of their policies.

I recent ordered a product from a brand that starts with T from them and no issues with the price. Very happy with DD.

PING did relax the mandatory shipping charges sometime in the last couple of years.  You'll see that when tgw, carls, etc have free shipping that it also applies to PING stuff.

Good to know but I was sure out of luck when I was looking at the 430 earlier this year

 

Let's hope it stays, every little saving helps these days 👍
