Fantastic! 30 putts today for 18 holes, which is about 3 less than my average. Feel is great with a soft, true roll. A little higher pitched ping sound came from one that I caught low on the face, but it was a reminder to be better. Also it is not glossy so no glare issues outside.

Fresh off the truck, the finish is amazing. Still on the fence if I’m going to use/keep vs grab the new Inovai line inbound. Here are some photos, leaving the plastic on for now.

Has anyone that ordered the black version get a shipping notice yet? Guessing that’ll be sometime today.

I'm very curious about the standard grip that comes on the new BB line. Bettinardi calls it a "Lamkin Smooth Pistol Standard Grip".

 

In the past few years, the stock grip has been the shape of the Lamkin Deep Etched grip with Lamkin's "Fingerprint" material, which is sort of a bike tire-tread rubber. I wouldn't call the "Deep Etched" a pistol grip. The pictures Bettinardi has posted (and the one above) still look like a Deep Etched shape, maybe, but with smooth rubber.

 

I was looking forward to a true rubber pistol grip from Lamkin, but we'll see.

but yes it’s a smooth rubber version of the fingerprint one. Fantastic grip honestly

The finish is so sweet. It is such a cool shade of bronze. Feel off the face with the sound slot is great - not tingy. Feels poppy and just makes a nice thunk sound. Grip feels great too. It’s the nicest feeling putter I’ve had in my hands in a long, long time. I bet the regular black ones are just great too. Bettinardi nailed it. They’re going to have a big year.
