If it’s like the past several yrs. We’ll see pictures of the new BB and inovai line coming out in the next 2 week and will be able to purchase a black out version on Black Friday.

I wish I could regularly drop $300 to $500+ on a putter. They put out such cool stuff (with a few WTF? models thrown in).

As a user, I'm always going to assert that whatever it is, it's (more than likely) to be very high quality. Bettinardi makes a tremendous product.

I owned a gorgeous DASS Tour proto. I think it was called an M-360??? Kinda a mid mallet. It had the really unique honey comb looking face. Looks like they have gone completely away from that. Wish I woulda held onto it.

The lack of adjustable weights continues to baffle me. Not everyone fits into their stock config & slapping lead tape on it is not a solution for me.

The weights could have some kind of honeycomb design to them too, lean into their branding

They believe in one piece milled. They think it affects sound and feel. Not sure if that outweighs fitting options for most people or not. I think my one piece putters do feel nicer.

Whoa, a sound slot! When was the last time you saw one of those on an OTR putter?

 

I just wish these weren't $450. But a carbon BB1 wide with a sound slot is... well, pretty ideal.

 

edit: not carbon, SS. I'm almost positive one of their Instagram teaser posts said carbon... weird. Maybe they were referring to the headcover?

The BB1 with a sound slot will be in my bag……. Once the price goes down. New club prices are so depressing now days. These look really good though. Like the fly milling on the face over some of their other options.

BB1W looks pretty sweet. Finally a company that give you a black shaft paired with a black putter head OTR. The magnetic headcover looks premium and long awaited. Granted they didnt raise the price from the studio stock release I guess youre getting more for the money even tho I aint buying at retail ha

I wish I could order one without the coating and no sight lines. Unfortunately, to do in their hive is like $2k.

I will say the sound slot on an OTR putter is nice to see again, interesting if they catch on again.

The BB1 wide will be super popular. I’m not a big sound slot fan but it’s a really cool added touch. The finish, color scheme, black shaft - it’s all just super well done. A lot nicer than the QB and SS lines were are usually positioned as the nicer lines.

I get what you’re saying but nothing new for a new release. Im a huge betti fan, own plenty of their putters. If they would value stream to the consumer more, it would justify the prices they are charging for otr.

What do you want them to do or come out with honestly? Everyone always "Oh I want something new and different" then when something new and different comes along they don't like it. You can please a picky toddler easier than WRX'ers on new club day.

 

It's their "basic" line you get basic shapes but seems better than other BB drops. The BB8F hasn't been done since 2011, the BB1W is new-ish and not tour only, the BB28 Slot Back is normally limited or Hive drop, the BB48 looks like a new-ish shape I haven't seen before. 

 

Yeah it's not going to be ground breaking but it seems better than most years for the BB line.
