Those frees look flat as all hell, as flat as Vans. That's a pass based on the looks.

Looks like Air Max 1 (white w/ black swoosh and gum sole). Or did you mean the row behind it? That one looks like a Roshe (light grey w/ white swoosh).

Those Players NRG Victory Tours would have been AWESOME if they were the same leather as the normal ones but just in that colourway!

 

Unfortunately it seems like Nike have started to take the "Fast Fashion" approach to lots of their shoes now and not just their clothing...using materials (suede) that don't hold up well in wet conditions meaning they look tired and scruffy quickly...meaning you buy a new pair rather within a few months rather than keep them for 2-3 years.

 

It's probably a way to try and drive up revenue since their sales are slumping. The Masters Jordans are the same....they look great but light grey suede just is not a good choice for a golf shoe, nor are the materials used in the Pegasus Shoes!

Behind and to the left, the two shoes that are cut off.  I don't recognize them....

How is it Golf Galaxy and Dicks has the NRG’s for $160 and Nike is charging $210??  I don’t get it!

Has anyone gotten order confirmation through the back door of Dicks. I tried to put my order in (it was just after 10 am so I wonder if when the shoe went live it glitched it), and it showed that the item was no longer a valid SKU. The shoe is still not up on the site even though I got the email saying the launch was live, it just goes to a dead 404 link. My guess is they realized the price difference and pulled the shoe until they can get it fixed. It wouldn't be the first time Dicks has cancelled a pre-order of a shoe.

they must of just realized it; I didnt pull the trigger as im trying to control my bad purchasing habit, but I would imagine it should still go through. They will just have to eat the loss for their mistake

Likely caused by the lack of structure in the upper, my guess is that with a foot inside them they 'prop up' a bit more and wrap around the foot.  They looked great on Fleetwood and Nelly when they were wearing them, looks like Fleetwood has switched back to the TW13's though if I saw correctly.

Tommy may have gone back to the TW13 because they are spiked. Might not have wanted to play in a spikeless shoe for actual tour events

I wonder if these new frees are more comfy than free soles they put on any of the TW shoes, as I'm finding it harder and harder to return to my TW13 after wearing FJ premiers.

Also, does anyone have a long-term review on the Pegasus golf, they look great for a summer shoe but I have a bit of doubt about whether I should stick with my Jordan 1s or splash out on a shiny new pair of pegs

Looks like Golf Galaxy and Dick's caught their mistake and put the Players Victory Tours back up on the site at the regular price.  My order is still showing preparing to ship.

Fleetwood played in spikeless AM90's previously, might just prefer TW13s.
