Due to Nike having a 25% off code a few days after ordering them originally, I ordered again so have 3 pairs of the same shoe...except they aren't the same....

 

The leather is very different, on one pair it's got a matte finish and is textured (almost tumbled) and feels very nice and premium whereas on the other pairs its a lot smoother, a bit brighter white and feels a bit cheaper.

 

Also, on the pair with the smoother leather, there's a Nike Swoosh under the outsole that isn't there on the others.

 

Manufacturing dates differ too...

 

Nice Leather and no Toe Swoosh - 10.5.23 - 12.26.23

Smoother leather and Toe Swoosh - 9.20.23 - 11.23.23

 

The nicer leather ones seem to be a newer production run and on NDC the imagery doesn't show the Toe Swoosh at all and seems to depict the nicer leather

 

I know trhat these can often be made in different factories but surely the specs and materials should be the same

 

 

 

 

I think this happened with the VT2s as well, the OG blue and black (these ones), with small swoosh was tumbled leather and was really good quality, still good after about 12 rounds, foolishly sold them as i wanted some tour 360 22s,

I bought 2 other pairs later on to replace the tour360 22s; the black and white & white and black with wrap around swoosh with the smooth leather, and they basically wore out on the heel padding on both pairs after 3 rounds of golf. 

i dont need any more golf shoes atm, but i was really interested in the VT3s but not at premium price.

I recently bought some pegasus' and they're amazing.. really tempted to get a few more colours.

I actually tried this version on at PGA SS in laced version when we were in California this February and thought they were very comfortable.

 

Got a pair of eBay for $50

The black Next 2 have a stiffer coating or material than the NRG and Green colors. They don't budge/stretch as easily as the others and actually made the toes on my right foot hurt by mid-round. Ordered the wide version to replace, hopefully it'll work. On a positive note, played in very wet/muddy conditions today and even sprayed them clean with a hose after the round and my feet never got wet. Whatever the coating they're using on this colorway makes them virtually waterproof.

The Victory Tour 3 with the BIG swoosh (like the 2) fit way different than the Victory Tour 3 with the smaller swoosh - I have 3 examples of this. There is something funky in the ankle and toe box on the ones with the smaller swoosh model

 

I love my nike shoes but man, buying the same size and model can yield some wildly different results. Mind you this is across many different models and over different years for me

Same…I used to be able to grab any Nike shoe in 10-1/2m and know it would fit…:I had to get an 11w in the OG ZIT and since then have had to try on every Nike shoe since, be it golf or casual or whatever.

Just delivered to me today was the Nike air Zoom next %2 NRG. White/ Platinum dang these things are sick!! Pictures don’t do it justice.
Super comfortable as most Nike next %. Probably the most comfortable golf shoe ever

Wore mine for the first time this weekend.  As someone who has been a fan of the previous 2 iterations, these are just as good as the previous % Next and I really like this colorway - won't get dirty over a long hot summer.  Hard to find a more comfortable golf shoe.

Thought you were on the TL train?  I do love both.  But just bought these and haven’t worn them yet.

Absolutely - just have serious problems with too many golf shoes!  You have probably convinced me to get a pair of the blues.  Where did you find these locally?

Cool springs golf galaxy.  They are not out on the shelf.  They have them in the back.  You’ll have to ask for them.  They only have the all whites on the shelf.  
 

this is my 30th pair of golf shoes.  All my golf shoes last because i have so many in the rotation. Not all are from the last year.   I have several pair that are 5 years old that are still brand newish.  
 

I want more Trues as I love my OG2.1. Almost bought the Masters release but I need more cushion most of the time. I need to try the FS-01

Dick's has them - picked them up in-store last night.  They said they just got them in.

Yup, I clean all my golf shoes.  Some I throw in the washing machine, some I take a scrub brush to.   I keep em all looking clean.  Im not crazy about the FS01 style but I hear they are the most comfy.

So the new Infiniti tour are not as soft and squishy comfortable as the previous model. They are more firm and supportive, comfortable in my opinion.  I don’t mean they are actually firm. But they are more firm than the previous model in my opinion.
