Mine is in as well. I took a chance and ordered the "Heavier" head. We'll see.

For those ordering counterbalance do you plan on gripping them pretty traditionally or claw,wristlock, left low or something else. If so did you have to order with certain specs.

I use the claw grip with counterbalance and ordered 3” over traditional so 37” when

i normally play a 34”. They only have the one grip option SS 17”.

How much more forgiving / better use of the technology is this over a mezz max. I prefer the look of the mezz but if this is far and away better I could be convinced

Sam just said on the Facebook group that it’s almost as forgiving as the df2.1

I love the ball cutout of the DF3 for alignment reasons. The use of the DF 2.1 messes with my brain for alignment.

Can you expand on this? In what ways? I don't have access to any hands on experience so I'm only going by what I can see online.

Just posted a picture above. DF 2.1 has kind of a kidney shape in it while the DF 3 has a ball sized hole. I had some good success with an odyssey 2ball at one point in my life so like that it is apart of the new DF3.

DF3 is as forgiving and stable as 2.1 . Going with a df3 is a no brainer. I had an open DF2.1 order which I just cancelled for a DF3

Everything from Lab so far says..... almost. Here's a direct quote from the Rats email, also see above for Sam's comments on FB: " we were able to give DF3 almost all of the forgiveness and stability that makes DF 2.1 the easiest-to-use putter in the game."
