Damn. I was hoping it would take longer... Might be an expensive spring for me then. Still love my DF 2.1 but the smaller size is super intriguing and I want to test a broom anyways...

Very interested to see how people like DF3.  I'm going on 2+ years with my Mezz.1 and I didn't think the Mezz Max was different enough to justify the upgrade.

I cannot speak for everyone who ordered, but it's almost the opposite idea from a change standpoint. I play a DF2.1, and I'll be quite happy if the DF3 is not different at all from a feel and performance standpoint. It literally is all about the size of the head for me!

I have a stupid question. Does anyone know if there is a fitting to determine which best suits your eye?

I could be totally wrong here but I believe Edel had a fitting that helped determined which site line worked with your alignment

You're right, it was Edel. I went through one of their fittings a while back. Not sure if anyone else does it.

Per Edel's website ... "... lines, in general, tend to make golfers aim left ... an absence of lines tends to create a right aim bias ... "

This is consistent with what I've found for myself, I have a right aim bias and when I demo putters I am most comfortable visually with large mallets with a strong single line.

Last season I spent some time on the practice green setting up with the line on the ball, alignment sticks, various ball positions, posture and eye orientations, that was helpful, I made some minor adjustments to my orientation and Rossie gamer, saw improvement.  The L.A.B. concept has had my attention for a while, I waited for the release of the DF3, custom ordered with a full single alignment line, hopefully it will be well suited for my visual biases.  We shall see 😉 ...

My buddy has the DF2.1 and we all made fun of him. After he repeatedly keeps dropping bombs on us and taking our $, I decided to give it a try. It felt funny but also like a putting hack. Everything rolled pure and dropped in. Just ordered mine. Ready for the experience and hopefully joy of more 1 putts or at least level the playing field.

Would be curious if LAB has any constructive feedback for their options

Agreed. Wonder if they have anything that groups some of the alignment aids by various factors such as:

-best for right/left eye dominance

-best all around picks

-those who prefer sight dots or flange lines etc

There are comments from @labgolf's Sam Hahn somewhere in this thread. If I remember correctly, he pretty much agreed with the standing of David Edel

Placed my order two weeks ago on first day of early release Jan. 18, order still "processing".  LAB website currently says "expect delivery 5-6 weeks from the time of purchase".

Thanks. I was just curious if people were seeing these come quicker than the website was showing.

How has your journey with broomstick gone?

It’s definitely different and never thought I’d go this route but I used it last week in first competitive round and putted well. It does get my hands out of it and really just point and click. I’m really excited. I have the spaceship as well as the Link so I definitely believe in LAB tech. The broom just makes it easier for me to make a solid stroke 15’ in.

Really enjoying the the counterbalance wave right now. Thinking and hoping to pick up a df3 just don’t know if I want to pull the trigger on a TPT shaft. But everyone seems to be going broomstick just seems like it would be so foreign to start

After Camilo won I inquired about his putter but obviously it was tour only. You’ll have to let me know how the counterbalance works out. Hope you love it.

Bro I need it. Im soooooo close. On course im 1.7 1.8 putts per hole, avg 15 or so greens. Ill post my SAM numbers below but I work very hard on a very hard on stroke and start line. Just need something that frees me up a bit more on the course.

I’m certain it will help. Your SAM numbers are really solid so can only improve with the LAB.

Can't to see pics of this - curious on one thing though: why did you choose to go CB?  I would LOVE to jump to a LAB (DF3.0 is top of my list currently), but have never considered CB.
