Minor but awesome - it fits so much more nicely in my bag! The difference in the head size + headcover seems small but it's really noticeable. L.A.B. knocked it out of the park with this one imo.

Do you find the shaft distracting at all?

I’ve played the BGT tour which I really liked and I hated the LAgolf but I might have to switch to the TPT it’s got a TON of hype

Don't worry it's much better than the LA shaft.  I also hated that one.  

 

Also I have only putted for a few hours with the TPT, where I have 4+ years with the BGT so.......

Glad to be of service. Not at all, I had no issues with distraction or anything else. The putter looks and feels great and I am very happy with the smaller size/shape.

 

I was a much better lag putter with the Mezz than the DF 2.1, but everything else fell in the DF 2.1's favor. Feels like the DF3 has married that last aspect back and now it's perfecto.

I have a TPT in my DF 2.1 as well. I love it, it gives a lot of feedback without being harsh. The Accra felt marshmallowy to me, TPT is like the goldilocks shaft to me. And honestly I was pissed about it because my wallet would prefer the $100 Accra, but it is what it is.

I ordered mine with the BGT shaft (standard, not counterbalanced) day 1 as well, and mine just shipped yesterday. So progress is happening!

The cover measures approximately 5 1/4 x 5 1/2.

Ordered on 2/5 and got the email today that it is in production!

Received my Platinum DF3 with a TPT shaft.  Compared to my MEZZ.1, it is much more automatic even putting indoors on a mat. Can't wait to try it outside.

 

It's a lot heavier than the MEZZ and a lot bigger. It's smaller than the DF2.1 for sure but bigger than most mallets.

Looks like it's parallel to the line on his putting mat to me. Probably just a weird perspective/distortion from camera lens.

You said this is "a lot heavier than the Mezz". Can you elaborate? The head weight feels heavier? Is that compared to a standard Mezz or Mezz Max? Are these standard weight heads or ordered as heavier?

No. The putter is slightly twisted in the photo and the picture was taken slight off line. It's also not pink tinged as it appears in this photo. I’m a terrible photographer. The line is perfectly aligned on the real putter.

Both are standard weight builds. The DF3 is just a lot bigger so you feel it when holding the putter. When putting it feels a little heavier but a lot more stable.

Mine took 5 days.  Went in production Monday morning and shipped Friday evening.

Mine went into production on a Monday and was shipped on a Friday.

Here is a better picture.

 

I've been putting indoors for an hour, comparing it to my Mezz.1. Same shaft (TPT),  grip (Press II 1.5), length and lie. The DF3 is much more stable and forgiving. The sound is perfect, no pings. If I hit my Mezz off center, it would be a little tinny. Perhaps because the DF3 is so much more forgiving, I haven't experienced that yet.  Can't wait to get it out on the course.

I wish I went with the same alignment option as you. I finally got to try a DF3 at the local PGASS yesterday and wasn't a fan of the T alignment. Hoping it grows on me.
