Tour Kids with Wins?

Since the Nicklaus era, which kids have won on Tour whose dad also played the Tour?

I'm thinking Bill Haas (6 Tour wins and the Fed Ex Cup ) , Kevin Stadler and Kevin Tway (oneTour win, respectively).

Also, Gary Nicklaus generally struggled but he eventually lost a tournament in a playoff.

I can't think of anyone else.

Guy Boros. Dad was Julius Boros.

Edit - Brent Geiberger. Dad was the OG Mr. 59.

Didnt Bill and Jay win the same Sunday on their respective tours?

No. The Duvals (David/Bob) did. DD at The Players and dad on the Seniors now Champions Tour on the same weekend (1999). DD's dad was not a PGA Tour player.

I don’t know what his membership status was. He played in quite a few majors during that time, so I thought that met the criteria of “also played the tour”.

this story refers to him as “legendary teacher and one-time Tour pro”

On the European Tour (since the Nicklaus era) there are:

Antonio Garrido and his son Ignacio Garrido
Jose Maria Canizares and his son Alejandro Canizares

All played Ryder Cup except for Alejandro.

Dating back to the years before the European Tour was formally established, but Percy and Peter Alliss were both winners in Europe and also formed a Ryder Cup double act.

What's crazy...go look up how good K. stadler and B. haas were as high schoolers and college. They were pretty much lights out for their respective ages. It really shows you how good you have to be to even get a few wins on PGA tour.

They didn't. Neither Haas won their respective event that day.

Vance Heafner won a PGA Tour event. His father, (Clayton) was also a PGA Tour player/winner.

I remember Kevin Stadler been known as a lights out ball striker when he was on tour, but could not putt for toffee! He was a broom putter user, but then when the anchor ban came in he started putting left handed! Should get him in a LAB broom now 🙂
