No upcharge Ventus Black

now I am seriously considering picking up the UW w Ventus blue -- I've tried to avoid it since being one of the first nayayers but it just wont go away!

You're almost certainly just going to get the stock non-Velocore Ventus Blue since that is a stock offering. The other shafts being offered are not available in non-Velocore models through Callaway, but the Blue 7X is.

That is not what my check out looked like.  It didn't have the non velcore.   But I can email TGW and find out.

That's from the Callaway site. They offer non-Velocore shafts in the blue 5-6-7, but not in the red, black, or blue 8. It would be odd for them to send you the Velocore when they sell the non-Velocore on their site as a no up charge offering.

You can’t go by what the picture is, because on the purchase order TGW sends to Callaway for the build, it is all text.  You’re gonna get the non-velocore blue since Callaway actually does carry that.

As others have suggested......emailing either TGW or Callaway about this will most likely end the deal for everyone.

 

Read the thread.  The whole idea of getting the upgraded shaft is that it was never offered otherwise!  Your choice IS.  The pic means nothing.

Yup....just looked on tgw and it seems they've figured it out and removed the no upcharge Ventus options.

My 2 3woods with red were just shipped yesterday and arriving on Friday. Order was put in 23rd of April. Will see

You red are fine cause they only sell the Velocore red at Callaway. The Blue is clearly offered in the non-Velocore.

My order of 2 fairways with red  was put in on the 24th so fingers crossed.  Well, at least if I don’t get them, the other guy is accepting all hate and blame.

Usually the ppl that call don't read the whole thread.  So naturally they don't understand how the glitch worked...Callaway offers non velo blue, so if you ordered a non velo blue, that's what you'll get.  Reading  in hard...reading comprehension is ever harder.

 

My red 7x 3w is still waiting to be picked up...label created 4/17.

Man you guys are grouchy old men.   I wanted the blue, that is the shaft I play in my 3W and would like in the UW.   If I get the velcore than bonus.
