thanks for the heads up. Would be fun if someone tries it with the blue to see if it’s velocore. 

The Blue 8 would've been, since Callaway only offers it with Velocore. The others would've been the non-Velocore. Deal is dead either way.

I have been active on this forum for 18 years and as much as has changed around here in that time, the fact that SOMEONE ALWAYS RUINS THE DEAL makes me both frustrated but also weirdly proud. It's like a rite of passage or something, to C***block your fellow deal-seeking brothers (out of sheer stupidity or laziness).

Just watch your bank statements. I took advantage of a tgw gaff on Scotty Cameron’s two years ago and ordered two of them. The first came and the second didn’t. I emailed about the second and then it shipped and I saw a full price charge (before the gaff was only paying shipping). Just making sure others don’t lose an unexpected $250.

did you get a tracking number? I ordered on 4/24 and tgw status says shipped complete but no tracking.

I did. When I clicked on Details on the order page in my account. Can't recall if it showed up the same time the status changed. 
 

Most of my tracking comes thru FedEx on its own because I have an account with them..... So I really didn't pay attention to the tgw tracking info. Sorry

Anyone who ordered and got theirs - what did your order status say throughout the process? It's been years since I've purchased a custom club from TGW and last time it was Titleist and not Callaway.

 

Is 'processing' the normal thing to see or 'Shipping from Manufacturer' or etc?

Yes. When it ships from cally it will update with tracking number

It stayed at “processing” for ages, then suddenly it updated, a tracking number appeared and it was delivered (to CA) in less than a week.

Mine doesnt even say processing, just "Shipping From Manufacturer" 😂

Did you deal directly with Callaway or with TGW? I thought Callaway couldnt answer questions about orders made through these vendor sites?

I’m dealing with the same thing. TGW has allegedly “contacted” Callaway twice about it. How’d you get them to just send another one? I’m closing in on a month since ordering

I have tracking numbers in my FedEx app from my 5/1 order. Obviously that doesn’t mean they’re actually shipping based on other orders, but still hopeful they come soon.

Have people been saying these are shipping via Fedex? Normally Callaway custom orders are shipped UPS 'Worldwide' Saver and come from Mexico.

We wanted to update you that the package has been deemed lost. Callaway would like to know if you would like to wait for a new order to be built and shipped out to you, or a refund issued. Please let us know how you would like to proceed with this order at your earliest convenience.

 

Called TGW and tell them I still want my club.  Now I wait for updated hipping.

Another data point. Received mine today. Smoke Max 3W w/ Ventus Velocore (oonfirmed!) Red 7X. Ordered on 4/25.

 

Interestingly, the Callaway paperwork indicates an order date of 4/30. Based on the information in this thread, TGW may have placed the order hours prior to "figuring it out" due to the idiot who emailed them.
