I’ve been following Ben Kruper’s rise and his play is insane, so I’ve been interested in the Wilson resurgence and would love to be fitted (never have). Pine hurst is obviously every golfers dream come true (also never been).

I have an affection for companies outside of the more mainstream brands and I have a commitment and dedication to bringing awareness to the quality of product that exists out in the market that others around me might turn their nose at or have negative connotations about. I really want to change people's minds about the idea of playing "what works" and saying to hell with the traditional ways of thinking about golf equipment. From the fact that I have New Level irons currently with Jumbomax grips, to the point that my personal tinkering is always aimed towards the goal of finding "the perfect setup" I think golf needs more people to think outside the box and question their assumptions when it comes to what is truly going to make them enjoy the game more.

I've played off and on for nearly a decade and I'v never been to a 'good' course.  Lately, I've  become interested in the workmanship of clubs, having acquired a few vintage Wilson iron sets.  The company's history and craftsmanship are have become an interest of mine.  
 

It would be a spectacular opportunity to test a variety of equipment  at a spectacular location.  I've only had the opportunity to purchase clubs 'off the wall' at my local golf shop.  It would be beneficial to test a variety of new equipment.

I remember the praise the V6 irons received when first released - they were on my shortlist of irons to purchase. Wilson has surely made even greater strides to innovate their clubs since then, and I'm excited to experience their latest gear firsthand and see how it stacks up against the competition. Getting fitted by experts and testing Wilson's new equipment on an iconic Pinehurst course would be an invaluable bonus opportunity.

what an amazing experience!!! This would be incredible! I know Wilson doesn’t spend a ton on advertising, but if they keep making SOLID products and building goodwill this way, they won’t be under the radar any longer (if they are). I’m 36 and had never considered playing any Wilson clubs before, but it seems like they’ve modernized and are trying to reach golfers in my demographic and younger which is really great! Now that I’m in D9 Forged, I’m a happy camper!

5. Why would you like to visit with Wilson Golf at Pinehurst to test their newest products? After playing the D9 Forged, I’m sold on Wilson! They are making some killer products right now, and I would love to be able to test out their entire lineup to see how else they could help my game—wedges, driver/fairways, etc.—whatever they have in Lefty! I have zero qualms about playing an entire Wilson bag after hitting these irons. I’d even love to be fit for a Wilson ball, as I’ve never had the chance to try them out. 

 

Plus any trip to NC is a bonus. It’s beautiful there, and I can’t imagine what Pinehurst is like this time of year!

Why would you like to visit with Wilson Golf at Pinehurst to test their newest products?     I recently had a great 30 min indoor mini-fitting experience with one of Wilson's fitters (Joe in northern Virginia) and really like the feel and performance of the Staff Model CB 7 iron I got to hit.  But, as you can tell from the age of my irons, I'm slow to change and, in particular, I really prefer to test irons out on grass before I'll make a switch.  So, having the opportunity to test out the full performance of the Staff Model irons on the range or course would be awesome.  Plus, I've never visited or played golf at Pinehurst (or the surrounding area), so I'd love the chance to do that, too.

PGA Superstore had a demo day which I attended and used Wilson's  new golf club technology to identify what would be a good fit; the Wilson rep said Dynapower Forged with the UST graphite recoil dart 75 regular flex , 1 degree flat.  I really was impressed with my increased ball speed.  I would like to go to the iconic Pinehurst resort to verify the findings with your Wilson experts to verify my specs and at the same time do it at one of the finest golf resorts in the world !!!

For a brand with as rich of a heritage as Wilson that's probably too new to be "nostalgic" about, but I have some fond memories with them. The chance to revisit some of that at a place like Pinehurst (which I've never been too but have salivated over through YouTube videos plenty of times) would be a once-in-a-lifetime trip!
