Interesting to have the GD alignment stick cover without a Graphite Design shaft in the bag.

I find it interesting that the only non-Callaway club he has in the bag is that Cobra 5 wood. Especially since the UW serves a very similar purpose. I agree with him though, the Cobra fairway with those baffler rails is one of the best clubs they make. Absurd that it is tour only right now.

So I found his driver specs to be:

 

Driver: Paradym Ai-Smoke Triple Diamond 8.5 (@9.8, 188.6G, 4GF/6GB)
Shaft: Denali Black 60TX (44 7/8 EOG, Tipped .5, D2.5) 

 

 

How do you get to D2.5 swingweight with that light of a head playing that shaft at that length? I struggle to hit D0 playing the same head at 5 grams heavier and a slightly (45”) longer shaft! @JohnnyWunder

Maybe it's 188.6g without the weights? Or they add hotmelt afterwards. Can't think of any other option.

Agreed, 188g is absurdly light and the 4g/6g weights listed would put it at 198g which is a very typical head weight.

My Ai Smoke TD is 193g with standard 2g & 14g weights in it. My Paradym TD was 194g with same weights.  If he’s only playing 4g/6g then 188-189 would be pretty much right on what I’ve seen from the Callaway heads.

Those the PX blackout shafts? Never seen them in person, a PVD finish like some KBS shafts or something else?

Safe to say this is gonna go down as one of the most aesthetically unappealing driver soles in history???  Tot head scratcher from Cally here IMO.
Sole of that 3 wood looks terrific to me and woulda been a far better choice. 

*and yes, I get this is old news! Haha

I think it looks pretty good, actually.

 *Are you new here?! 🤣 Ppl “complain”/comment about things on clubs that don’t affect performance and that aren’t visible at address on the reg! 
(reminds me of the massive thread on the new Mizuno script from a while ago 😜)
