+ infinity. Dottie is refreshing in the fact she'll sometimes say whats on her mind about how or why a golfer hit a particular shot.
She was an aggressive major player in her day and her comments have always been honest and non-pandering. Of the few commenters her opinion is respected.

I think she recieved flak, a few years ago, when she commented on the us womens team for appearting to "choke". Everyone criticized her for calling them out, but at the time, that's what it looked like they were doing.

Agreed...Pretty much a strait shooter. The choke comments were spot on, but presented..."ill timed", I guess. Some say it will cost her a SC captaincy which is a shame...She was born for that job.

I think Dottie does a good job. To the person who described her as standoffish, I have met her at tournaments and she is not a very friendly person. Both she and Juli Inskster both left a lot to be desired in the "fan friendly" department.

There's a big world out there, try being less US centric....... people speak many languages and have many accents, sometimes you should work at something rather than just being spoon fed, you never know you might discover something useful.

you are 100% correct on this one... she is absolutely awful, and her manly voice compared with faldo's more soft-spoken accent just makes it that much more like fingernails on the chalkboard... and thats not even starting in on her incredibly insightful commentary

A true pro knows when to re-emphasize key points for the casual viewer, especially if he went to the kitchen island to grab some pretzels and missed some of the valuable commentary or had to get his merino wool socks out of the dryer before they shrank to baby booties.
