2011 Callaway RAZR-X BLADES

here's a pic of the face. Pretty tight.

I never liked the look of these blades they look to skinny in some ways and the face area is to small. Don't get me wrong their great looking irons and perform well they just don't have enough mass for me. Mizuno generally offers the best forging besides miura or scratch which I haven't got a chance to hit.

These irons are going to go down as all-time classics. The way you can tell is that they are still such a hot topic of discussion 4 years after this thread was started.

Oh, wait. I just realized that no one has contributed to this thread in nearly four years. Never mind.

Still a great set of irons, though.

you couldn't find a pic of a mizuno without the Icon of another forum on it???

and yeah, I just got a set of Razr X MB's and they are stellar irons, I trade off rounds with them and the Apex MB's.

thought I would dig this one up for funsies..... razr MB owner and lover here... ive noticed that a ton of callaway staffers in US and Europe are still playing these irons... im certain that callaway is scratching their heads trying to design something to knock these out of the bag.... I wonder what will be next? anyone else notice just how many Razr mbs still out there... I would say the only iron on tour that out numbers it has to be the ap2...

I just picked up a set with H stamp on it from BST. Can't wait to try them out
May need to go find a 2iron to add to the set. I'm guessing the distance will be slightly longer from stronger loft and slightly longer shaft compared to 681T

yep...may be a touch longer... But they play pretty traditional.. I have and play a set of titleist custom grind MBs (99% just like your 681T)... in my sunday knock around bag and I have them bent to a 47 degree pw... so the razr MB and the titleist are equal... so yes you may see a few yards more with the razr MB but wont be anything crazy... I will caution you though..the razr mb will spoil you...they are so easy to hit its crazy.. Your only issue will be having two iconic irons... which ones to play???? I have this dilemma myself..lol Search seller "8802" on ebay.... he sells a lot of tour issue stuff and almost always has a razr MB 2 iron and or a 2007-2009 x forged 2 iron which pairs nicely with the razr MB...my set has the 2 iron and I can tell you its by far the easiest to hit long iron ive ever owned... in my opinion its easier to launch than the titleist 712U 2 iron I have... just very well designed irons

Currently my gamer set. Getting them reshafted into Modus 3 Tour 120 Stiff from 120 TX, but they are such NOT a blade in forgiveness!! and the feel is one of the best bar none. 2011 Razr X MB!! There is a reason so many staffers still play them.

681T will be sent out to be refinished and will be back in my bag by the summer time. Thanks for the heads up on the 2 iron from ebay. I was thinking of picking up an Apex MB 2 iron from callaway pre-owned since there isn't much choice on the 2 iron for Razr MB. I would assume, Razr is closer to MP29 than 681T in terms of ease of use and feel. Am i right?

I just picked up Razr X MBs from the office. They're nearly identical except for slight difference in lie and maybe offset. Also swung it around the house and nearly identical in swing weight based on feel. Score!!!
