I'd love to try the oaked Hatter, but their Mad Hatter is a terrible IPA.. Bourbon can make alot of things better, but thats probably one that it can't.

I'm drinking a Mother Earth "Tripel Overhead". Bourbon barrel'd Tripel tonight.. Damn fine beer..

Had some homebrewed Zombie Dust clone this afternoon when I got back home from my round.

I had some three Floyd's this past weekend on the yearly golf trip and wow! Had some Panzer Wolf and Dreadnaught and they are fantastic.

Three Floyd's makes some good beer. Zombie Dust is one of my favorite beers.

I've yet to try zombie dust. My buddies from Chicago grabbed the others and say the stores that sell three floyds rarely have zombie dust in stock. I sold one of them a three wood for runs of beer when they visit home so hopefully I will get the chance.

It's not Zombie Dust but if you ever get the urge for amazing hoppy brews just hop in your car and head to Toledo. You should be able to find Fat Head's Head Hunter IPA and Brew Kettle's White Rajah IPA. Both are amazing and I personally like Head Hunter better than anything I've had from 3Floyds (and I'm a huge 3F fan). It's world class.

Went to Buffalo Wild Wings last night and tried their new Ale called CameChanger. I'm not sure who makes it for them but they call it a "craft" beer. I was quite surprised, it was pretty dang good.

I've fallen in love with Terrapin RecreationAle. Think Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (5.6% ABV, 38 IBUs), but lighter (4.7%) with more bitterness (42) and hop aroma. It was just released in Athens a couple of months ago and, as an addition to their year-round slate, I am hoping its availability should expand soon. I haven't seen it down here in FL yet. It beats the heck out of typical boring, watered down session beers.

The Westy probably came from the brick they released from Shelton Bro's earlier in the year... It's not "in stock" in the states unless it's from that one release, or someone bought some overseas and brought it over to re-sell.

OK.....what do ya want for one of them? There's gotta be something you are looking for and I've been trying to get a ZD for a long time now, seems impossible to get a single let alone a case. No FFF in PA ever. Had to sell my soul for a couple DLs a few years ago.

Last trip we took up there we couldn't find any which is really odd since normally we don't have to look to find it. Our normal stops always seem to have it in stock and fresh to the point of being days old. I'm hoping last time was the fluke rather than the 10 previous trips just being good luck.

Anyway smashed down a Blind Pig and a Fresh Squeezed IPA last night. Dare I say BP is like a baby PtE that one could enjoy as a session beer for life? Yep, wonderful stuff. And the Deschutes was awesome as well, like a dialed-back Sculpin with less malt on the backbone.

Just getting my fill of good stuff before all the October/Pumpkin crap starts filling up everywhere....not a fall beer guy at all.

I've been knockin back the Westbrook Gose lately.. Odd style, something you don't find often, but it's like a berliner with salt.. Pretty awesome.

Have the R&R Stone Collab Coco IPA, and the Founders backstage Mango Magnifico to drink soon enough..

Anyone have good access to Allagash stuff? We get a fair share, but I want some of their special coolship stuff. I have one FV13 left that I can't bring myself to drink just yet. It was FUNKY good.

I've been killin the Redbrick 20th anniversary beer. Huge RIS aged in Heavenhill bourbon barrels.. Like a mini KBS, and really really good.

Better stock up on what you're drinking soon. My inbox is filling up with pumpkin and fall release notifications already. My local brewery already has their pumpkin on tab. I like the stuff but now I understand why I can't get it in October when I actually want to drink it.

Gotta find someone up near the brewery as I think the Coolship series only sells out of their retail front in ME. I was up for a wedding not long ago in Blue Hill and we stopped there to find some cool stuff but alas none of what we bought survived the 4 days we spent there (unless we wanted to partake in Miller Time we had few options....). The only Coolship for sale then was the Red and for what its worth it is worth seeking out if you dig fruited funky stuff; I'd gladly buy more.

We get everything they make down this way and they put on a great line up for any beer week they are sponsoring; Philly was great and last Sept up at BA Belgian in MA they brought out the big guns and IMO made many other companies look weak in their offerings.

The ZD is drinking awesome - it was 2 days fresh from FFF when i got it. If you have some HT LMK - so far I drank a sixer and traded a sixer so I have a couple to trade still.

Don't know if anyone has had a chance to try the 2013 Stone Collabs but they are worth seeking out. R&R Coconut IPA and Farking Wheaton WootStout are both great, FWW is crazy good.

I had the W00t stout a couple weeks ago. It was okay. Pecans were in the nose, but that was it. It was boozy and sweet, and the wheat didn't play well IMO. Should be fun to see what a year does to it though!!

The Coconut IPA was laughable. Just a regular ol' Stone IPA. No coconut to be found at all, and the only people that said they tasted it were friends of the homebrewer it seemed. I liked the tropical hop flavors.. Coconut aside, it was a good IPA, just not a coconut beer.

Have you had the 17th Anniversary? It's all new German hops, and it taste really good.. Very tasty and peachy/pineapple with the noble hop character.

The CoCo is pretty good and interesting, I'd pick it up if I saw it just to try. The Enjoy By is good stuff, I'd buy a few.
