Spotted Cow out of New Glarus Brewery.

You can only get it in Wisconsin. I live in Iowa now but always bring a case or two back each and every time I go home to see my parents!

My haul today:

4 Peche Mortel Coffee Stout
2 Karl Strauss Barrel Aged Wreck Alley Stout
2 Green Flash Silvia Stout (barrel aged double stout)
2 Green Flash Sleepin' with Shaggy (barrel aged barleywine)

I currently have somewhere around 23 cases of beer in my "cellar" which is really a dark closet. I'm not a hophead. I'm a malt guy and if it's barrel aged, even better, so it's full of stouts, barleywines, and old ales to include Deschutes The Abyss (2009-2012 vertical at least three of each), Stone Old Guardian, and a bunch of Firestone Walker Proprietor Series...Parabola, Sucaba, XV, XVI, and Double DBA.

In my opinion, for the money, nobody is doing it better than Firestone Walker right now. Especially the barrel aged stuff. It's incredible.

All of that being said, if I could get Bell's Two Hearted and Founders Breakfast Stout on a regular basis here in San Diego, I honestly don't know if I'd drink anything else.

Like I said, not a hophead but I think Two Hearted is one of the best, most balanced beers out there. When I get FBS, I actually drink it for breakfast while watching my Carolina Gamecocks play football at 9am out here in Cali.

If anyone wants to do some trades for west coast stuff, just shoot me a message. I'm more than game.

Sounds like you need to try Bells third coast old ale, their barley wine, and New Holland devils milk, stout aged in bourbon barrells. Both look they fit your tastes and they are delicious.

Not sure about shipping beer across the country and arriving in tact but maybe we can look into something.

I can get enough FBS and Two hearted to fill a swimming pool. Shoot me a message when you have a hankerin for some. Would love to get some Cali brews that I can't get.. RR and FW, heck even some Bruery stuff. Althought, as a 'Cocks fan, I'd probably send you empty bottles. Go Dawgs. ;)

If you like FBS, seek out some Terrapin Wake n Bake.. Some people love it better than FBS.

If you and FATC1TY do a trade and want to do another let me know, I can get you all the Two Hearted and FBS you want.

I love anything from RR or Alpine.

Founders kbs in stores today! Get some if you can
Good luck. I have heard of two stores plans for releasing it. One is just releasing to loyal customers and the other is doing a timed release with a two bottle limit. They said they plan on selling out in 20 minutes.

I know of one who is posting on their Facebook page when in stock and its first come first serve for a 4 pack. Luckly my regular store promised me two 4 packs.

I did stop in two others today and neither said it came in.

I went to Founders on Friday and picked up my bottles. I had a Odd Side Ales Bourbon Barrel Mayan Mocha stout at Hop Cat. What an awesome beer. I really need to make it to Odd Side Ales one of these days.

Bell's Oberon just came back out for 2013. Great beer for those warmer days. Not as good as a lot of the stouts and IPA's you guys have already covered though.
A bar by my house had a Oberon release party and went through 13 kegs!! They went through 1 in 8 minutes that's some serious beer drinking

Our local grocery store recently started carrying Ten Fidy, a russian imperial stout.

This reminded me of Stone's Russian Imperial Stout. It's dark, thick and has great chocolate and roasted malt flavors with very little coffee flavor. It hides the 10.5% ABV very well too. I don't drink stouts very often, but this is one I would easily drink again. I'd rank it right up there with Stone's Russian and Hoppin Frog Barrel Aged BORIS.

Ten Fidy is def pretty good. I'm a big fan of the craft beers in cans.

If anyone is a big imperial IPA fan another awesome one is Avery Maharaja

Store by my office wants $10 a bottle for KBS and will only sell one per person. That's a bit much
They should be reported to founders for price gouging!
I agree. There is a place by my house that did the same thing last year. This place however charges way to much for all of their beers some cant say I was surprised. What city is your office in?

I'm in Troy. They guy try to justify it and say that's what everyone is charging. After I laughed at him I said well that's your choice and I choose not to frequent here any more. Best part was before I knew the price I knew they were only selling one bottle per customer, so of course you I asked why not two? He said I can sell you two but at $15 per bottle. That's when I asked how much is one and he said $10 per bottle

I have a brother in Athens, GA who is getting me into Terrapin Brewery. They make some solid beers. Right now I'm having a Hop Karma Brown IPA. It's a very balanced beer with a smooth, dark character masking some mild spiciness. I think it could use more than its 6.0% ABV (slightly greater hops:malts ratio is how I think of it) but I'm not complaining too loudly.

I went back to an old friend, the Left Hand Milk Stout, this past weekend and liked it so much I had another at the end of the night. Such a velvety texture to it, so interesting.
