How Do You Arrange Your Clubs in Your Bag?

When the bag is on stand you can see every club in order. When it is on a cart it starts out this way but ends up with the top rows mixed up.

Woods and putter in top slot, irons in bottom slot.

I use to do driver & fairway woods up top, high irons to the left mid irons to the right and wedges, putter in bottom space, but I noticed lately a lot of pros putting there putters up top with their drivers, so I tried it that way and really like it.

[/quote] Uness your putter has virtually 6 o'clock toe hang (not sure if that's the right terminology) like a bullseye or 8802 and you don't mind it getting a few dings, like a bullseye or 8802, then there's probably a better slot somewhere else. I go one row up and on the left in a four5. Keeps the face away from the PW just enough and it's easy to grab.

Ping bag so the dividers are a little different, it has two at the top two in the middle and one big one at the bottom.

Driver and putter in top left, 3 wood and hybrid in top right.

Wedges in the bottom

This is my cart bag arrangement, but different for my stand bag as the slots are laid out differently.

Apologies to the blade crowd for any eye damage caused by my ugly GI clubs...

Finally found the set up that works when I'm riding, carrying or with the push cart. Umbrella is placed where it is instead of on the outside because it serves as a block/protection from my wedges hitting my putter during a round from bag chatter, allowing me to leave the putter exposed without a headcover and not get it nicked up.

Driver-3 wood-putter-alignment sticks-extra 3 wood shaft with weight sleeve

6-7-8-9. 2h-3-4-5

3 wedges



It's funny that this thread got brought back up because I went out to play the other day and pushed my bag and clicgear up to the club house to pay. As I'm walking out to the first tee, a guy sitting on the porch tells me that I've got my clubs in my bag backwards. I just thanked him and went about my business. Different strokes

Top to bottom as looking from behind on a push cart.

Putter in the putter well.
Gotta reach around the woods when riding, but don't change.

I'll be using the Ogio Woode System on my Mizuno Tour Cart bag. Woods on the left, putter on top and irons wedges left to right and top to bottom.

With the Grom it's hard to explain in detail. I keep my hybrids, 3 wood and driver in the middle diamond. I have my wedges on the bottom 3 and then I have my irons in descending order. 5,6,7 on the left and 8,9,PW on the right.
