I am leaning towards the performance fairway woods due to the glued hosel, and that the face looks slightly deeper than the vr-s, which is perfect. If thd head is smaller like the vr limited but slightly shallower, it's a keeper

I've hit the VRS forged and they are great, I actually think if I didn't play Miura irons now I'd probably have Nike forgings of some sort in the bag.

The VRS forged are great, I play them from 7-4 iron with KBS Tour black stiff shafts. They feel great and are very forgiving. I have the Vr Pro blades 8-pw with the same shafts. Love the Nike forged irons

wow the one thing about Nike is they really get the look right! Interesting I have to go hit these when they come out. I'm really interested to see how they feel, with that huge cavity back. It seems to me like they made a driver that looks round but plays like the square drivers. Hmmm, does that mean they are loud like a cannon too?

Not loud like a cannon at all. The sound is very acceptable, muted (compared to other Nike drivers) like any of the other normal sounding drivers.

From a college players perspective this is great because of the flew loft. With how we use multiple clubs during practices round it will allow us dial in our yardage with greatly ease and allow for lower clubs. This will greater help with travel weight for sure.

Joseph Bramlett has a Covert Driver & 3 wood in play at Q School finals at PGA West.

Spoke with Joseph about the driver. He really likes it. Tested the new ball a little at The Oven but not enough to be ready to make a change right before Q School. Said he would be testing it more later.

If those two are bagging it, you can be sure that the golf world will be seeing a ton of this driver. It will be the TMAG white effect x100000 as almost all of their tee shots are shown on TV during tournaments if they are anywhere near the top of the leaderboard.

I was going to say Rory too but didn't want to jinx anything till it's official

I would say right now, it's between the Covert and the new Callaway driver for me.. of course my VR LTD with Fubuki K-Series will stay around no matter what. I will have to hit the TM driver, but the graphics are so bad that it will have to be mind blowing for me to get past the graphics.
