What loft is TW's current driver? I thought it was 8.5.

Watney has always played high loft drivers. The guys at Titleist told me that he de-loft everything a ton. He needs to play high loft to get optimal numbers. That is a really good problem to have.

Rory is at 10.5

60* of staffers are playing the performance and not the tour model (this is from Nike)

Myself had my best results today at the 12.5/Right setting.

This is a great problem as Loft is a golfers best friend [size=4] [/size]

Basically confirmed my suspicion that NIKE jacked the Titliest SC to create these Method putters for the former Titliest players

So begs the question, why did Rory switch back last week and since several Titliest guys are now with Nike it would seem like they would've just copied the design anyway.

I heard an interview that Rory did and he said the method was to light. While the styles were the same, he said the weights were different. That the greens were really slow and that it was to light. He felt he was having to hit the ball to hard to get it there, hence the switch to the heavier SC.

I heard him during that interview and it makes perfect sense. I just wouldn't have thought Nike would make the Method that noticeably lighter considering the two guys using it!

Yup, it had a black face, which is the tour version. He was using the performance one.

Couldn't tell if it was the LTD (glued) version.
