got my new Callaway Legacy Black Irons

The first step in rebuilding my bag.

 

To me they are the best looking irons ever.

 

 

 

I ordered 8 irons of everything I wanted to try, Nike VRS forged, Wilson FG Tour, Ping g20, Titlest AP2.

I hit the rocketbladez and a couple of others.

I ended up liking these the best. The Callaway was as easy if not easier to hit than my Ping g20s.

The market is limited. Plus the forging and shipping are butt expensive. I checked through Tim. It's not cost effective for a retailer to do it unless they jacked the price way up to make a buck.

That stinks! I keeping checking eBay for these. If a used set pops up at a decent price I may pull the trigger on them. I love the look of these irons!

Yes. I am. With that said, I've been playing LIGHTS OUT with the XH Pros. I can't imagine a better irons. But those are definitely beautiful and if I find myself in Europe any time soon I'll have a set. Rest assured. I'll have a set indeed.

Yes. They are a 2 piece forging, with a super soft S20 carbon steel (if memory serves me correctly). They are gorgeous too. Really are. The fellas didn't believe it until Doc Alan brought it back and then everyone wanted to see what I was fussing about (foaming at the mouth actually). Damn nice set of irons.

The new version is a bit darker satin chrome than these, and the numbers on the soles are in white.

Hi all..first post here.
I got lucky with these irons. I bought a pair of diablo forged online in the states, cost me just under 400 bucks. When I got back to Thailand I found them a bit heavy. Went to this place with 2nd hand clubs, and managed to trade in and up. Only had to pay extra 300 bucks. So I've got a set of blacks, hardly used---700 bucks!
And man are they so so sweet!

[/quote]Just got these in! I have bought a set of epon 302, on off 2013 forged and these callaway blacks. They are all very nice clubs in the looks dept ( no chance to hit for awhile ....SNOW) but so far I would say from address I like the callys by a hair. Will keep posted when hit.

you wouldn't hae to buy anything to try equipment at my local golf shop. they have a demo program where you can take FULL sets of all the new equipment out for 2 full days! its pretty sick. The legacy black prbly isn't an option but the others you tried would be. GolfZilla in Coralville Iowa.
